He is right on that point. But you have to look at it in context and listen to all of the interview.
You can’t praise Mengistu and denounce MEISON and EPRP.
The guy is not well. He is holding a grudge on all the people who criticized him. He has a shallow understanding of the use of language. He thinks Knowing the English languages put him in a different league and so far he hasn’t said a single sentence in English without mixing it with Amharic.
He is shallow and stupid.

Why not? America is antagonistic to China’s ideology and yet they do business with that country.

The guy is out of his mind. The reason he says that he likes mixing Amharic, English & German to express himself is because he has Ethiopian audiences. He wouldn’t do that if his audience were from Germany or Britain. Did he mix English & Amharic while teaching at AAU. No sane person in the civilized world would do that. Only a KIFFU and an idiot would mix two or three languages to deliberately filter out the average audience,

Elites in Ethiopia rarely accept constructive criticism. it's also ingrained in our society. Our egos are too big. This is why problems persist rather than being resolved. Truthfully, I'm not very familiar with him, but I did watch the entire video. Perhaps he is a little bit loony.

He is lunatic. Not sure how else to describe him. A speaker who only cares about how best he delivers his message without regard to his audience is narcissistic to say the least. Flipping the bird is an effective gesture to express your dissatisfaction but it doesn’t mean you should use it at your parents.

He claims to have become a man of deep faith but what I all see through his eyes is an expansive disease of hate. Why else would he bring up people’s physical form and eating habits?
