Sadecha,Sadecha, Some of the gray stuff in your brain seems to be missing. What is asked here is as an Ethiopian the constitution has to take into the account of the "second largest " nationality in Ethiopia interest, but you think that because you like it as the new tribal lord, for the same same reasons as previous one, you want shove it on Amharas. Do you know how delusional that is? So for country they have been dying for centuries rather than accommodating you want them galvanized and say Adu leaving everything for you to enjoy. With impunity in very coordinated ways your bodies in side and outside of the goverment masscaring, uprooting Amharas but the time will come for bodies to account. As to galvanizing what for? Leave that for Amharas themselves, they are not with out president.

TGAA,
Ah yes, since I have an opposing view, I must have "some of the gray stuff" missing in my brain.
So If the majority of the country not only approves of federalism but are ardent supporters of it, then what?
Abolish it to cater to the needs of a minority?
Or?
If you are confident in the belief that Amara's are against the constitution, then why not advocate for them to have their own form of governance in their region?
Just don't expect to impose it upon others and all shall be well.
If you want that, then that entails going their own way, separate from the rest of Ethiopia.
You cannot impose it upon others, which is exactly what you're accusing the other side of... Imposing a form of governance upon Amara's.

What are they imposing? Can you leave your strawman argument and be specific? No Amhara object to federalism, but it has to be democratic. Turn some pages about federalism, weyanne and olf constitutiom it nether federalism nor democratic. Name on county with an Ethnic Neanderthal constitution other than Ethiopia?

You are basically saying you want to get rid of federalism or the constitution, based on your perceived belief that it's bad for Amara's, but you are not even considering the beliefs of other nations in Ethiopia.
What if Oromos want it? What if the Sidama want it to remain? Hence the reason why they struggled and got their state.
What if the Afar want the current system to remain?
What if the Somali feel the same? Even the Tigrayans? The welayta who deserve their own state? And so on?
Then what? Forget other countries because our history is different than theirs and our problems and issues are unique and require a comprehensive Ethiopian solution. Not the old "Kifle hager" Ethiopia, but a federal one.
Identifying with ones nation, ethnicity, linguistic group isn't the problem. It's natural. That's just how it is. It's what people relate to and identify with, for the most part.
We want an Oromia that is only governed by Oromo, with three main languages, afaan Oromo, Amharic and English.. Simple as that. Any infringement upon that and the country will definitely balkanize.

Are we one country with a federal system or are we separate countries? Who said Oromos will not govern themselves or speak their own language? But all Ethiopian citizens whichever part of the country they live should have the same rights, there shouldn't be a discrimination against any Ethiopian regardless of the part of the country he came from. Do you have a problem with that? That would leave your argument naked.
