You will never come to realize how the title of being "the pride of Africa" came about, you are not part of the wisdom. It did not simply come about, it was earned.

To realize and acknowledge the contributions of those who made it possible and to run around with the earned title afterwards, unconsciously, are two different things.

That was back then, but the continuity goes on, because it has to be earned, today and tomorrow, like yesterday.

No double then Ethiopia of before 19th century was pride of Africa but the new Ethiopia backwarded with tribalism glorified in its constitution and Ethiopians don’t feel safe to travel outside their kilil… I don’t think is the pride but embarrassment to Africa…. It was giants country converted to small tribalists country thanks to the evil meles and now abiy who is more oromo than Ethiopian
I am a believer though great days are ahead and Ethiopia will be the pride of Africa again with no wars, booming economy, tolerant society who put country before tribalism
