____This is just fake statistics circulating to deceive unsophisticated readers. First, what was the motive just to pick Raya and Welqait Huemra in the time when this alleged writer was writing? This by itself proves: 1) The writer was TPLF cadre who manufactured figures so that TPLF by then occupied these areas before its own Dedebit Constitution was approved by itself. 2) This is just a fake figure manufactured following TPLF's loss of the areas in a vain hope going into referendum. It is obvious referendum is IN APPLICABLE because a lot of chaos and crisis has taken in the area for 3 decades. For that matter, vote is not applicable to determine an identity of a segment of a society. Referendum on significant issue of identity is a STATISTICAL INJUSTICE and is not viable solution. Prior to TPLF's illegal occupation the people of these area were in Wollo and Gondar province - there is no legitimate reason for TPLF to crawl out of Tigray and ask I want to vote on these territories of yours( Gondar and Wollo). This is an out right NO to Amhara.

___The other significant point is, according to the 1984 population and housing census taken in the Derg time the population of these area are Predominantly Amhara. For instance, 95% of the population of the city of Alamata were Amhara and only 5% were Tigre and other ethnic groups. The TPLF reversed these accurate statistics of the Derg era nd [deleted] the population, named everyone Tigre.
