It is also my view that Gurage should go back to its original federal structure where each community was self-ruling with its own internal laws etc such as ጎርደና ቅጫ ... yes Welene will be its own zone, Mesqan will be its own zone, Sodo will be its own Zone and 7 bet will decide if they want to be 1 zone or many zones like Chaha, Ezza, Mihur etc ... That is what Silte should have done. Silte is Gurage in toto except in name.

in amhara we have ልዩ ወረዳ for Argoba people.

Gurage must make ልዩ ወረዳ not new zones

the EPRDF map makes West Shewa one entire zone. West Gojjam one entire zone. woredas are to small to be a zone

Gurage is actually very big if we add Silti and the lost ones (Chebo Soddo Galila) in SW Shewa.

In the Eritrean highlands too we use the ቤቶች system. As a native of a village you belong to one of the ቤቶች based on your ancestry. As land is owned communally ancestry becomes very important. The government by violating the rule is harming my people in particular those in Asmara, the capital, and its surroundings. Its practice is dispossess and sell the land to others. We pay the 2% national contribution and our sons and daughters serve in the army ( recently someone in the army reading a poem mentioned us in praise ) yet we are not treated fairly and equally. May be we are the victims of our civilized nature like our Habesha cousins, the Guragés.

If you want to be seen as proud Amhara, then focus on Amhar cause.

I am not trying to divide Gurage I just went on Twitter and Gurage issues began popping up. The Gurages should not allow a minority of extremists to divide them as a people.. I am advocating for a united Gurage...
