There is no difference between some hooligans who used to sing about "Tedemeral" during the con artist arrival to Eritrea and you. In regard to your claim that his eminence is langa-langa aka flip flopper or doesn't have a stand or principle. You can't be more far from from the truth and let me explain why.
There were a dispute between two women about a boy on which both of them claimed that he was their biological son. To settle their dispute, they went to the court of king Solomon and put forward their case infront of the king. He came with a solution and said, since both of you claim that the boy is your biological son lets chop the boy in to two half and share him between you two. His real biological mother was in disbelief and she said, she rather let the boy to live and grow up with the other woman Than for him to die, while the imposter mother was delighted and agreed to the decision of the king to let the kid to be be sliced into two pieces and to be shared between the two women. A mother can hardly accept the pain of her child let alone his death, judging from the reaction of both women, King Solomon decided the kid should follow with the mother who accepted the boy rather live with the other woman than he dies.
For his eminence, I consider my self as the true biological mother of Eritrea and it is my boy . just because I hate the alcoholic junk and his destructive policy, it doesn't mean the country should be disintegrated, defeated, condemned and vanish. I believe the Eritrean Defense forces along the security apparatus are the pillars of country to continue to function as a country and fend off internal and external aggression. And the main reason why I have these kind of conviction is because I know and felt the sacrifice which was paid both during the struggle of independence and the current conflict. and above all, the vision which was installed among our fighters that Eritrea has the potential to be the star of Africa is still relevant if not now at least in the future. And this is exactly what Noble mothers used to sing after independence. "እዛ ዓድና እየ ኮኸብ ኣፍሪቃ ኮይና እየ".
For Wedi Berhane Hagos and many other Weslata on the other hand, Eritrea is just a subject on which they can gossip about, for them, whether Eritrea exist as a country, colony or aid dependent country is immaterial and the main reason they sense this kind of feeling is because they have never made any sacrifices for its sake.
