The etiopiwinet idea ,it’s sentiment are definitely are seen as less important and surely being eroded and abandoned by the new generation Amharas who seem to see ethiopiawinet from fatalistic point of view.
There is a growing concern about what the future of Amharas be like with ethnocentric politics that discourages ethiopiawinet and it’s very concept as belonging to oppressive Amhara.
Except the few Addis Ababa centred Amharas,the majority of Amharas are more focused on establishing their own very nation than etiopiawinet. contrary to what most believe,FANO is about defending the Amhara people,their lands and interests not about joining the hodgepodge ethnocracy others espouse
For the new generation Amharas a separate Amhara nation is the only viable way forward. .
