The African Organization of Supreme Audit Institute (AFROSAI-E) Awards Eritrea as "The Best General Auditing Nation", out of the 26 African member states. @AFROSAIE has previously awarded Eritrea's Auditor General's Office for similar Excellence, in 2014 and 2018.

Update:

Resident & Humanitarian Coordinator a.i. for Eritrea Mr. Aeneas Chuma has held meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Osman Saleh, Minister of Finance & National Devt. Dr Giorgish Teklemichael, & Minister of Information Yemane Gebremeskel.

Discussions focused on areas of development cooperation between the UN in Eritrea and the Government of the State of Eritrea. The UN will continue to work in partnership with the Government of the State of Eritrea to strengthen the existing mutual collaborations.
