ኢስላም እንደሱ አይደለም ። ቅዱስ ቁር 'አን መለኮታዊ ዶግማ ብቻ ሳይሆን በዚህ አለም መኖሪያ ሸሪአ (ሴራ) ነው፣ የኗኗር ስር'አት ነው ። ስለዚህ ኢስላም እምነት ብቻ ሳይሆን ካልቸርን፣ ባህልን ይለውጣል ። ይህ ብቸኛ ግዙፍ የኦሮሞች ችግር ነው ። ለምሳሌ ሙስሊም ኦሮሞች ኢሬቻን እጅግ እጅግ አድርገው ማውገዝ አይደለም ይጠየፉታል በተለያ ፓጋን ኦሮምች ወደ እምነት ስለወሰዱት ማለት ነው።ዋቅ፣ ዋቃ ፈጣሪ ሃይል ማለት ቢሆንም ሃይማኖት አይደለም። ማለትም የእምነቱ ዶግማ (መጽሃፍ ቅዱስና ቁር 'አን) እና ቀኖና ቤተ መቅደስ መስጂድ ቆሞለት መመለኪያ ስር አት የለውም። ባንድ ቃል ዋቄፌታ ሌላም ተባለ ሃይማኖት (ሪሊጅን) አይደለም ።

ኦሮሞች ያላቸው ሃይማኖት ክርስትናና ኢስላም ብቻ ነው ። ስለዚህ ክርስቲያንም እስላምም ኦሮሞች ከነዚህ የቅድሞ ፓጋን እምነቶች ጋር ችግር አላቸው ። ማለትም እነዚህ የምነት ክፍፍሎች ወደ ፖለቲካ ክፍፍል እየሄዱ የኦሮሞ ናሽናሊዝም (ኦሮሞሙማን) እየበጠበጡት ነው ። ለምሳሌ ለእስላሞች እስላም ሁሉ አንድ ኔሽን ነው ፣ ማለትም ከጎሳ በላይ ነው። ያንን ነው ሺመልስ የሚታገለው ! ሰሚ የሚያገኝ አይመስለኝ። ኦሮሞች በሃይማኖት ብቻ ሳይሆን በካልቸርም የተለያዩ ናቸው ። የወንጪ ኦሮሞ በካልቸሩ የሚቀርበው ጉራጌ እንጂ የአሩሲ ነጌሌ ኦሮሞ አይደለም። ነገሩ ሰፊ ነው።

Ob. Shimelis Abdissa is Right: our Oromumma (Nation) is Bigger Than our Region and Religion

I heard the recent comment by Ob. Shimelis Abdissa regarding his concern that Oromo naming of Arab’s and Jew’s origin is very threatening to our national identity (Oromumma). He is highly criticized by some religious Oromos, who think that their religion is more important than their nation. Ob. Shimelis is politician and he is thinking politically. I think he is also pragmatic and realistic. If religion is really more important than nationhood, why should Christians of two nations fight each other or Muslims of two nations kill each other when two countries are in war. Just tell me, why Orthodox Christians of Amhara and Tegaru hate each other as well as that of Amharas and Eritreans fought each other? Practically, people of the same nation, regardless of their religion, stand together, when their country is invaded by foreign enemy. I think that is what Ob. Shimelis tried to emphasize. All Oromos of diverse religions have common identity, i.e our national identity – Oromuumma,  which can unify us. Aditionally, naming ourselves and our children with Oromo names  instead of taking Arab names and Jew’s names show us how we are proud of our God given natural identity in being Oromo. We should not necessarily relate our religion of christianity with Jews’ naming or our religion Islam with Arabs’ name. We can be good Christians and Muslims having Oromo name. By accepting and believing in these two big religions, we don’t have to undermining and despise Oromo nsmes and identity – Oromumma.

If President of Oromia might have said Oromuma is above our respective religion, then I am going to ask myself about how that could be empirically wrong, unless some political bankrupts are trying to trade on it and stir some discussions and suspicions between those of different faiths?

Someone gets his/her blood identity by birth, but has to wait to choose his/her faith doctrine (christianism, islam phenteeizm, wezeterefa) until the person is of full age.

Don't bring the argument that you can also apply for citizenship rights after you are a grownup.

Blood identity?
If what you are trying to say is ethnicity then you are wrong.
It is a label you are given after birth depending where and with whom you live. How a tribe or an ethnic group forms and transforms dictated by environment and need through time. It has nothing to do with blood or genetics.
I will not be surprised if crazy Oromos like you call yourself “the Arayans”.

ተመራማሪ እንድህ ይላል -

1) የሸዋ አርሶ አደሮች የወረሱት የጥባት ወቅት የእህል መድረስ በረከት እና ምስጋና ቃል ሲሆን ኦሮሞዎች ሸዋን ከወረሩ በኋላ የገባር(ገባሮ) ባህል የሆነውን የእራሳቸው አድርገው ወሰዱት እንጅ እሬቻ የኦሮሞ አይደለም ይላል። እኔም ተገረምኩ ምክንያቱም በአማርኛ ክረምቱን ሰውን እንደምንም ከዘለቀ ብኋላ ቀድሞ የሚደረሰውን የእህል ማሳ ራቻ ደረሰልኝ ይላል። ይህ ቃል ከእሬቻ ጋር የመሳሰላል። አቻምየለህ ደግሞ ቀጥታ እሬቻ የሚለውን ቃል ከአማርኛ መዝገበ ቃላት ውስጥ ፈልፍሎ ነው ያወጣውም። እኔ ከሰማሁት ራቻ ከሚለው ጋርም አንድ አይነት ነው በስምም በግብርም - አካባቢያዊ አጠራርል ልዩነት ካልሆነ።

2) አባ ገዳ ( ብልት ሰለባ እና ወሸላ በግንባር መትከል)። ይህን አባገዳ ተብሎ የሚጠራው ልማድ ደግሞ ኦሮሞዎች ከባንቱ ጎሳ የወሰዱት ባህል እንጅ የኦሮሞ የእራሱ አይደልም ይላል። ይህንንም ሲያስረዳ ባንቱዎች በሚኖሩበት የአፍሪካ ክፍል የሚመሩበት ባህል ነው ይላል - ኦሮሞዎች ጥንት መሰረተ ዘላኖች ስለነበሩ ከባንቱ የወረሱት ነው። ይህ የአባ ገዳ ባህል በባሌ ወይም በቦረና ኦሪጅናል ወይም እውነተኞቹ ኦሮሞዎች የሚደረግ ነው - ከባንቱ የተወረሰ ልማድ።

አቻምየለህ ሁለት ኦሮሞን በሁለት አይነት ያየዋል። 1ኛ) ኦሮሞ ያልሆኑ በወራር ገባር ሁነው ኦሮምኛ የሚናገሩ እነርሱም ለምሳሌ ሸዋ 2) እውነተኛ ኦሮሞዎች የቦረና ኦሮሞዎች ናቸው።

አንድ ሰው የጎሳ ማንነቱን ሲወለድ ይዞት ይወለዳል፣ የሃይማኖት እምነቱን በኋል ጠብቆ ያገኘዋል ያልከው ጠቅላላ የኦሮሙማን ትርክት ያፈርስብሃልና ተወው! አንድ ልጅ ተወልዶ ገና በ40 ቀኑ ነው ክርስትና የሚነሳው፣ ልብ በል በ40 ቀኑ እንኳንስ ሃይምኖት ሊመርጥ ምግብ እንኳ መዋጥ አይችልም ባ40 ቀኑ ። ደሞ መላ የኦሮሞ ጎሳ የተመሰረተው በሞጋሳና ጉዲፈቻ ማለትም እጅግ ያደጉ ልጆችና ጎረምሶች ወይም አዋቂዎች ህዝቦብ ከዛሬ ጀምራችሁ ኦሮሞ ናችሁ ትብለው አይደለም ዎይ የኦሮሞ ጎሳ የሚሆኑት ። በዚህ ፋክት መሰረት የቱ ነው የቀደመው በ40 ቀን ክርስቲያን መሆን ወይስ በ10 አመት እድሜ በጉፈቻ ኦሮሞ መሆን። ኦቦ ዲቲቲ ጎሳነት ለክ እንደ ማንኝውም ማንነት ሰው የሚፈበርከው ትርክት ነው ፣ ታፔላ ነው ። ሰው ሲፈጠር አጥንት፣ ደም፣ ስጋ እጅ እግር ነው ያለው እንጂ ኦሮሞ የሚባል ሰው አይወለድም። ሰው የሚባል ፍጡር ይወለድና ተራ በተራ የካልቸር ታፔላዎች (ካልቸር ማለት ሰው ሰራሽ ማለት ነው) ይለጠፍለታል!! ይህን ደካማ ክርክርክን እርሳው!

የአቻምየለህ ጥናት አላየሁትም ። እኔ ኢሬቻ/ኢሬካ የተባለውን ቃል ኤቲሞሎጂ መርምሬው እስከ ስረ መነሻው ምን እንደ ሆነ አውቀዋለሁ። ቃሉ ሲጀመር ጥንታዊ ኮፕት ነው። ዛሬ ላይ እጅግ ግዙፍ የሴም ቃል ነው ። የሸዋ ኦሮሞች ናቸው ቃሉን ተውሰው የኦሮምኛ ድምጽ ሰጥተው ጥቅም ላይ ያዋሉት ። ሙሉ ዝርዝሩን እዚህ ቦታው አይደለም ። ኢሪቻ ዛሬ ላይ ሰፋ አለ እንጂ የሸዋ ኦሮሞ መስቀል በአል ነው፣ የዘመን መለወጫ በአል ነው ። ልደገመው ኢሪቻ የሚለው ቃል በኦሮምኝ ቋንቋ ውስጥ የለም ። ልክ ገፈርሳ ሰንዳፋ እንደ ሚባሉት እልፍ የኦሮሞ ድምጽ የተሰጣቸው የሴም ቃል ነው ። ለምሳሌ ሰንዳፋ ማለት ባለሳንጃዎች (ሳንጃ ታጣቂዎች) ማለት ሲሆን ያርጎባ ወይም የወርጂ ቃል ነው፣ አረብኛም ነው ። ገፈርሳ ማለት ለጋራ ጥቅም የተተወ የግጦሽና የጋርዮሽ ቦታ መሬት ማለት ነው ። ቃሉ የሴም ነው፣ አረብኛም ነው። አል ጋፋር መተው ማለት ነው ። በሰባት ቤት ዛሬ ጀፎረ ይባላል። በክስታኔ ጉራጌም ፣ ባሃሬኛም ግፈር ማለት ተው ማለት ነው ። በቁራን አል ጋፋር ማለት ኣልህ ዘ ፎር ጊቨር (ይቅር ብዩ አላህ) ማለት ነው። ስለዚህ ገፈርሳ ድሮ ለጋራ ግጦሽ የነበረ ቦታ ማለት ነው፤ እንግሊዞች ዘ ኮመንስ እንደሚሉት ማለት ነው ። ሁሉም ነገር ግዜውን ጠብቆ ይገለጻል!

This is a big vision and a great responsibility for anybody. If anybody is to take on the daunting task, then the giant shouldn't be the last choice.


It takes a lot to make this a reality. Somebody with such a vision shouldn't get detracted from the main mission.

The good news is that there are many already on board, collaboratively with the giant. But there are also those on the fringes making over pitched noises, left and right.

We let the latter also to do so because the vision of the giant is making an Ethiopia where everybody can do whatever pleases him/herself.
