It is the best strategy. What do you think would be the reaction of members of the rag-tag Tigray militia when they learn that TPLF has capitulated on its key positions. I have already said that I have no idea how the current TPLF and the federal government can even co-exist in the same planet let alone make peace. It is impossible in my view.

Think about why TPLF is accepting an AU peace proposal by dropping its previous preconditions. They are saying this out of desperation as Sam and Sesame put it correctly.But is TPLF ready to disarm? The federal government has a firm stand, like any other government in the world, on having a single defense force in a country. Is TPLF going to accept this? IMO, for peace to reign in the region either TPLF has to disarm completely and as result its leaders might be rewarded with clemency or TPLF needs to be wiped out completely. I suspect the latter is the more plausible scenario to happen considering the mischievous nature of TPLF leaders.
