Opfist I let him enjoy himself. Rarely do I read beyond the headline. It says it all. As for Eden she is the most tribalist of the TPLF cadres. None of them agitate, to the point of sucking up, for her dream of creating Greater Tigryan speaking country as she. The very thought of it however triggers heart attack among Eritreans who visit ER regularily.

Abere,

Is it possible that sarcasm is a friend of sebdoyeley who was lecturing in the 21st century about a Puritan polity some 3,000 years ago: I have never read a society ... ?

I still remember that lecture as much as I remember Jawar's claim of inventing a calculator even though he may not have taken as many calculus courses as many others in our country. It has been my modest observation that when some people who lived believing in miraculous "reality" for a long time step out to rational reality, their quick sense of benevolence is infinite.

That transition takes a relatively long term transformational thinking, which may not come easily for many. When one does so expediently, the exodus is less than the visit, the leader of the exodus is to be accepted as one's own and that of the visit as not.

I do not think at this point that it would be in anyone's interest to regurgitate the outdated view of us versus them in the land of origin. I also do not think that it helps to keep forgetting that the existence of the visitors predates their visit.

I found some promise in the video you posted recently, which may have the potential to fill in the missing link to complete the works of Sigmund Freud (Moses and Monotheism) and Ahmed Osman (Moses and Akhenaten.) I hope those who are studying the similarities between Ethiopia's alphabet and Egyptian Hieroglyphic read both books and get a very solid understanding of the rigor and depth it took to produce and publish them.
