One of the Hundred and One ways Agames were Looting Ethiopia!

Post by sesame » 27 Jul 2022, 12:48

A couple of days back, there was a news item out of Chigray that Diaspora Agames raised 1.4 Million birr that was donated to 1400 Mekele University staff. That would be 1000 birr (at best $20) per person. I was struck by this fall of grace. Imagine being a University professor and being grateful because some house maid in Saudi Arabia gave you 20 dollars. But then, another facet of the news struck my mind. All of these workers were getting paid by the Ethiopian Federal government. The universities and hospitals in Agameland were the responsibility of the federal government. Which means, Ethiopians were paying the salaries of tens of thousands of Agame. What a neat trick of legalized looting. Not only did Ethiopians pay for building the hospitals and universities in Agameland, but they were responsible for their operations.

So, put into account this when you compute what the Agames lost by the war,

Let's keep this thread going by listing the hundred and one ways Agames were looting Ethiopia.

The Ethiopian civil service was a favorite Agame looting field. So much so that the Universities in Tigray were churning out droves of graduates in useless disciplines like political science and international relations. The Embassies and federal ministries were among the choicest and were dumping ground for many Agames with connections. Just imagine how many thousands of them have lost their jobs either voluntarily or because they were redundantized. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Besides being a source of income, the Ethiopian civil service is where they could shine since it doesn't require any meaningful skill, for instance to be a minister, as in most of third world countries, and Agames are good at one and only one thing - TALK - empty talk as that. Nothing gets done on the ground, where it matters.......

As a society which has been inflicted with an incurable inferiority complex, they, of course, equate acquiring some post secondary education degree with developing human capital. I'm not even talking about the quality of the education or the credentials that have been faked.....

The one thing I can be sure of these people is, you wouldn't see them lifting a shovel and a hoe, rather they loiter the Mekelle streets trying to purchase a 'piece of news' from 'social media news vendors'. Only in Agameland!

And exactly that is why they have been paralyzed as a society, and see them starving while their so- called intellectuals and cadres are busy ''analyzing' the world on social media or wherever they found mic close by.

ምላስ መቼም የማይወጣው አቀበት የለም::

Here is another 'fact' about Tigray for you, in case Edu would get coy on us : Of the 1.5 million arable land in Tigray, the 230,000 hectare is optimal for Teff agriculture, which can potentially yield more than 2.3 million quintals per year (translation)....... 8)

Mind you, to give you a perspective, what these geniuses claim would be half the size of Tigray's total land mass before their adventure in Nov 2020...... :P Never mind about the numbers, that has never been their forte..... :lol: But what is worse is even if the mentioned numbers were true, what is the purpose of numbing their starved people with ላም አለኝ በሰማይ......like they always do? :cry:

Yet another way the TPLF thugs were looting Ethiopia was by building factories in Tigray with Ethiopian wealth and then dumping their products on Ethiopia. This is an example of double-looting. The Ethiopian defense ministry, for example, was buying two uniforms for each soldier every year that was supplied by the Adwa factory. Another such scum was the supply of cement to the huge GERD dam. All the cement was supplied from Tigray.

The transportation sector was the other cash cow for the Adwa mafias.

- Selam Bus Company, as part of EFFORT, had an absolute monopoly of the local market.

- Ferrying goods from Djbouti port to every part of Ethiopia was carried out by numerous trucks, owned by EFFORT, and their drivers, who happened to be Tigreans.......

Since these trucks and their operators used to charge 'the Ethiopian government' based on the distance they travel, the longer the distance, the better money it would generate. And boycotting Eritrean ports for Dibouti's was God - sent opportunity for this gang......

Another Agame company called Sur construction was used to milk Ethiopia by winning huge construction projects through out Ethiopia with no competing bidders. The last such project was in Gonder, circa 2017, when many Agames, including their looting arms, were expelled.

The revelations in this thread are meant to remind Agame of what they lost when they started this war and that the 27 years of looting were their golden age ! Never in history did they have is as good as that. And it is looking like they won't have anything similar in the next 50-100 years.
