And my top favorite song "WUSHTU HURUR" was sang by my favorite singer kiros something.

Wede Qumneger,

If I were you, I would have formulted the the title of the thread as follows:

my favorite eritrean TIGRIGNA songs are....yes tigrigna songs.

You higdefites lecture us here day in day out that eritrea comprises 9 ethnic groups but you fail here even by default to add one bileni or afar or beni amir etc song in your list. Does it mean you never listen to them?

Why?

What is the difference between you and Eden who also posted eritrean tigrigna songs yesterday. I don't blame her because she ain't an eritrean but an agazian and she is on a mission.

But you????
WTF are you saying? Me personally, I don't have any favourite Afar, Bilen, Rashaida, Kunama or Tigre song. My favourite Eritrean songs are all Tigrigna songs. What are you favourite Eritrean songs? Who TF cares if they all are Tigre or Kunama? Just enjoy them.

A proud higdefite!
Man! In my dictionary, you were the only wise lebam higdefite here.

But this evening you disappointed me big time. You telling me implicitly that eritrea is a tigrigna land and I can go to hell.

Is that what you are trying say?
Eritrea is not a Tigrigna land, implicitly or explicitly. It belongs to all its nationals and nobody has any right to tell you to go anywhere, least of all hell. But you have no obligation to like Tigrigna songs, if all your favourite Eritrean songs happen to be Tigre, it's nobody's business.
That is what he wants to turn the discussion into. Nobody is trying to shove those five songs down his throat. He has every right, like any Eritrean has, to pick any Eritrean song he loves as his favourites. He could have easily selected 5 of his favourites (for example, Wedi Sheik's Baburaye, one of Haile Nati's kunama songs, Yemane Baria's etc) and I am sure everyone would give him thumbs up for his taste of music. But trigger happy that he is he has to spill his narrow thoughts at every opportunity he finds.
Though I don't understand Kunama language I love Haile Nati's songs, I love Wedi Duruf's Nara songs but what is wrong if I prefer Yemane Baria's because I understand the lyrics and the music?

My response, you love ertitrea the land such as gash barka, the breadbasket of eritreans. Also its ports such as massawa or assab but you are not interested in learning the indigenous languages of of the inhabitants who happen to be tigre, afar and saho.

Eritra meretwa inji hizbwa ayasfelginim.. Who said that? Lol
