well, like I said before I have no issue if Guraghe or somebody else get its own Killil, as far as that is done in a peaceful way. Only if peace may get disturbed, then we could have issues with such and other similar issues based on "my way or the high-way" thinking.

Short of that, could you then prove that what is good at the plot of land level, enabling economies of scale and increasing productivity, like you yourself said here, is not good at the regional or killil level? Where is the turning-point of the trends then?

this is what Guraghe asking ........... as i said they can be zone. they r already zone so i don't know what the hell they want if they want State that means they get the same amount of money while they were Zone so what is the difference someone please tell me

As to me you are just one assigned TPLF troll to pretend supporting Abiy Ahmed, because Guraghe's demand is against his plan. Not only Guraghe, but also Gedio should be ክልል. They suffered a lot from OLF Guji and Jawar enabled Sidama thugs and their population is fairly large and have modest large city of Dilla. If Adere is ክልል, Gumuz is ክልል, Gambella is ክልል, Tigray is ክልል the law of nature and society allows Guraghe. Gedio, Hadiya, Dawaro, etc become ክልል. By the way ክልል is a contagious disease it will catch everyone of the remaining 84 tribes - it is their right to catch it, got sick and die like it fell upon TPLF.

i dont care if there are 1000 zone but when u say being State u missing the point .. America have only 50 state. but they have over 3000 county (zone)

when u become State u dont get more money ... let say Oromia got 100 billion birr budget this money will not change if Guraghe become state they get the same money that they used to get while they where zone may be they got two more senators and one representative that all but when it come to money the same money they going to get so what is their advantage becoming state ? that is a question

no about golden they have 9 zone if one of then city want to become zone i understand but if they want to break away from Golden i don;t see the benefit if they think they would be benefited then go head make my day ..

about 84 ethnic becoming state is a joke because some of them only having 5000 people so what is the point of becoming alone and have smaller budget

let me give one example let say Oromia have 100 billion birr budget and Guraghe have ten billion birr . but let say they want to start one project let say road that connect them to Addis Ababa now they have to agree with the Oromo otherwise they oromo might said this is not our property and how Guraghe going to build road that cross Oromia to reach Addis Ababa of the Guraghe was under Oromo state then the Oromo will help them to achieve this goal mow tell me how they can manage this

First, I would like to ask you to STOP comparing Ethiopia with America - totally 100% different things in context, history, origin, cause. I am always offended when cheap politicians try to cheat Ethiopians by citing stuffs from America so that the majority illiterte Ethiopians don't have any idea or know anything. It is a tactic to use it as escaping route from trouble. Recently, the fake PM was comparing gun violence incidence statistics of the U.S. against armed military forces kiling unarmed Amhara civilian. You the TPLF/OLF guy don't run to hide away the facts. Simply talk Ethiopian level. Ethiopia which is 1/50th in size of the U.S. , but one of the oldest nation on earth, etc can not be sized up against America.

In theory , the budget distribution formula could be equal in size as size is used as the denominator, but in reality it a pretext. Guraghe will get the same amount of budget wherever it belongs to is false. Second, budget utilization efficiency and effectiveness can be affected by hierarchy of bureaucracy. If become ክልል their efficiency will increase and developmental out put ratio increases. More importantly, the chance the Gurages could enjoy regional level administrative posts in the is 1/54 -- assuming there are other 53 tribes. When Guraghe becomes Region, there will be Gurage President, Gurage Education, Health, Agriculture, Industry etc. You are just trying to justify for Abiy Ahmed.


My problem is not about Gurage becoming Kilil, the should have been kilil a longtime ago. But the issue is kilil is the most stupid thing Ethiopian in general should remove it.

Southern Nations, Nationalities, have 17 zone.. now Gurage want to become just one zone or region instead of getting 17 vote they only get one vote how they going to be powerful if they only have one vote because they become state or region and Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region have 17 vote and 17 time more economical power ...someone can make me understand this .. i am tired of asking ato Abare so can any other person have idea ...

Ethiopia have a copy of American consitution and we have 3 level government one fed government . second regional government and zone government and the most powerful government the people deal day to day is zone not fed. or state government school, hospital. road tax everything is deal with zone.

when Gurage become region then the district become zone and city become district more fragmented.. i thought Silt' asking to become region but they r smart they only become zone which smart move... i hope sidma also ask to become zone not region or state i will check that one otherwise i dont see the point of becoming region because u become alone instead of having 17 zone with u.
