The Afar Homeland of Dankalia

Post by AbyssiniaLady » 15 Jul 2022, 15:20

Do not spoil this thread again, It's just a reminder, Afar haters and jealous people please stay away.

A reminder.

The Afar homeland (Dankalia) is over 40,000 Square Kilometers in size, stretching from the northern tip
of Buri Peninsula near Massawa in Tigre region to southern town of Rahyta. The coastal regions of Dankalia stretch up 1000 KM and contain historic villages, ports, and islands. Dahlak Island, for example, contains over 300 islands which have served as the traditional fishing economic base for generations.

Afar Women Selling Necklaces in the Dahlak Islands.

The Dahlak Archipelago is a string of islands about 645 miles long, located 12–18° north, in the Red Sea. The closest islands are not far from Massawa, from where they are accessed. The temperature of the islands range from as low as 25°C between November and April to as high as 45°C between June and September.

The islands of the Dahlak Archipelago are known for their intact coral reefs, particularly the outer islands, which were formed from fossilised coral that uplifted due to seismic activity during the Late Pleistocene. Marine life in the area is outstanding. When in the 1960s the large reefs of the world began to be inundated with snorkelers and scuba divers, Dahlak’s geographic location and previous political instability means the area remains largely unspoilt.

It has been hypothesised that because the temperatures of the water in the Red Sea have always been higher than those of most other reef locations, the algae that lives within the corals here have adapted to be more resistant to increases in sea temperature. This means that whilst the reefs here aren’t completely immune to bleaching, the effect of temperature is felt less here than elsewhere.

Given that the Red Sea has included times of geographic isolation from larger bodies of ocean, there is a high incidence of endemism, with about 6% of corals and 17% of fish being endemic. The species of birds is numbered at 109. The areas around the archipelago are home to the endangered dugong and dolphins, and are relatively common to come by. Dahlak Kebir, the largest island is also home to a stunted form of Soemmerring’s gazelle.

That's not true, I think you are living in a fantasy world, Afar State including Dahlak Archipelago and 70 percent of Eritrea coastline belongs to Afar people, Massawa belongs to Tigre, Asmara belongs to Tigrinya etc.

The Afar Homeland of Dankalia

to me this question is very simple

during the referendum those 9 ethnic have no chance getting voice because 90% of Eritrean population are Northern Agme 10% are 8 ethnic groups so it doesn't matter which way the 8 ethnic voted the northern Agame win every time..

This is like the whole Ethiopians taking part on Eritrean referendum would u think the Eritrean would agree to this no . why because the Ethiopian will win every time how many referendum u conducted that is why only the Northern Agame voted on referendum now it is time for 8 ethnic groups to voice their vote ..

I hope the Eritreans would not mind the second referendum sine they win 98.9% the last time it will be the repeat of April 25, 1993....all ethnics will vote with Eritrean no normal Eritreans will deny this referendum for those ethnic because those ethnic are as much as Eritrean as Northern Agme based on this face let us conduct the voting

question one would u like total independent ?
question two would u like remain in Eritrea ?
question three would u like to join Ethiopia as fed state?

add any question u like but this 3 question must be answer once for all .. if Eritrea want peace otherwise the Golden will come to Asmara and break up the Eritrean because Eritrean started war and the golden will finish it...

my opinion is like this

why Eritrean need Dankalia ? just one answer they didn't do nothing for last 30 years so why they need it for .. on the other hand the kin in Djibouti make Djibouti heaven and earth they build 7 port that is world standard and making money from foreign power station in Djibouti no one dare to touch Djibouti ... the Djibouti make 10 billion of dollar from port alone now they started free industrialized zone there is no way the Assab will catch up on Djibouti if they stay with Eritreans so they should be free to progress because the Assab Afar tired of being poor while their kin becoming rich day by day.

why Eritrean need Dankalia ?
Landlocked ethnic groups notably Tigrinya cannot survive without Afar State and access to the red sea, however, Afar State will without a doubt separate from Eritrea, whether one likes it or not.

when i said why Eritrean need Dankalla it is rhetorical question..... they have Dankalla for 31 years and they didn't develop it so what is the use of Dankalla for Eritrea if they don't use it or develop it ,, if they lose it there is no effect on them hence if the rightful owner the Afar got their Dankalla they will work 24/7 to develop it .

just watch Djibouti with their 123 km Sea coast what they achieved while the Eritrean had 1000 km sea coast they never make it useful. and they keep the Afar people in poverty while their kin in Djibouti import chicken from Brazilian and enjoying life to the fullest trust me with in ten years Djibouti become another Singapore while the Afar live in poverty so they must breakup from Eritrea and charter their own destiny... and may Allah help them to do so.

Ethoash

Eritrea is a nation living without freedom. It is a country that has never had an election, It has no constitution, no parliament, no independent press and no budget has ever been published.

Eritrea is hardly comparable with Djibouti, so next time compare Eritrea with drug cartels.

The Geology of Eritrea.

I am too busy gathering Afar State/Eritrea past mineral exploration Italian documents, Ever since independence 1991 Afars have been wondering why their geology has been less generous, I found some 60 years old Italian documents, so far so good.

The Potash myth continues.

Afars are still paying for the mess the Italians left behind in Eritrea, Before 1890, there was no actual country called Eritrea and the low IQ nappy headed midget Tigrinya who are now terrorizing the Afar population with the complicity of Tigre people, were goatherders and domestic workers in Amhara households that never crossed paths with Afars.
