You are twisting the meaning of " የመላ አገሪቱ ህዝብ በአብላጫ ያልመረጠው" taking out of context. The context and meaning of which is

1) De-ethnicized tribal federation, put in place Provincial system ----- #1 priority
2) Ban the TPLF/OLF illegal constitution, replace it with Democratic Constitution
3) Replace TPLF/OLF tribal absolute monarch "PM" by presidential system.

Thus, suppose 2 presidential candidates run for election, the one with the most national vote becomes President of Ethiopia. That means if I elect presidential candidate "A" and my two other neighbors elected candidate "B" and the nation-wide vote goes like that and confirmed candidate "B" won overall, then that would be my president too for the next constitutionally defined term. No tribal rebel front seat holder thug like either TPLF's Meles Zenawi or OLF's thug Abiy Ahmed doing mock election can do monkey business.

The Federal system is not perfect but a solution to empower the nations and nationalists that were marginalized and dehumanized for generations. You are just stating the opposite. Before Meles, Ethiopia was characterized by solidarity, tolerance, peaceful coexistence, altruism and patriotism. No religion or no ethnicity comes before Ethiopia. Being an Ethiopian was a sense of pride, honor, and feeling of emotional attachment of citizenship. The social and cultural fabric/garment was very strong. What was actually tested after Meles/TPLF is the durability and strength of the social and cultural bond our ancestors built over thousands of year. If Ethiopia did not have such priceless cultural value and sense of patriotism and love of country, Meles would have ripped Ethiopia apart in the first few years. In stead of appreciating the age old tradition, TPLF boasted of their own being the cause of instability and violence in the country and around. The force of resistance was tough and that fabric still hold us together for 3 decades. But we are fade up nursing TPLF/OLF tribal ክልልand as generation passes by these fabrics are eroded.

Ethnic/Tribal ክልል is a crime, it is not a governance structure. There is nothing called nations, nationalities, peoples etc. etc. What a Babylonian language in hell is this.
