As a pathological liar as he is, he lies that when he arrived at kassala, sudan, he was mere less than 20 years old. A big lie!!!. He joined the ELF in 1966 after he was thrown out from addis university as a freshman.
Once he arrived at kassala, sudan, he was welcomed by the ELF (jebha) veterans.
Within few months, they sent him to china for training and after 6 months, he and those who were trained along with him returned back to kassala.
Let's leave this for historians. Tiegisti traH gudu kiwestie iyu.
