Under the federal system everyone has the right to be in favor and in support of his/her region including ethnic compositions in that region. At the same time every region should acknowledge and accept the rights of other regions and ethnicity in that region. It means that you can be a proud Somali as well as a proud Ethiopian. You can be a proud Amhara as well as a proud Ethiopian.

You can be a proud Oromo as well as a proud Ethiopian, etc. But then again, most of these vocal and day and night ranting mad baboons are wishing and needing the bygone feudal aristocratic centralized minority fascist dictatorship.

This has nothing to do with the hard working Gurage ethiopians. I all has to do with charlatan cheat called Birhanu Naega. I think Birhanu will try to milk this as amara vs. gurage fight. I also think gurages are not stupid enough to by this. So if birhanu has to cleanse himself from going to the downward spiral, he should remove himself from politics and find other hustling work. He sould also apologise to Amara and gurage people for using their name in vain to benefit himself.

Now he is an opposition party leader and serving as minister (not shadow minister) under PP, his party suppose to oppose.
his job as a minster is to implement government (PP) policy not his own party policy.
