Berara in Entoto rose to prominence in the 13th century as the capital of Ethiopia but was also replaced with Debre Berhan by Atse Zara Yacob while still remaining a Fortress of the Ethiopian Kindom up until 1530 then after the fall of Barara Gondar rose to prominence in the 16th century Ankober rose to prominence in the 18th and 19th century starting during the age of Atse Sahle Selassie (Amharic: ሣህለ ሥላሴ, 1795 – 22 October 1847) who was a ruler and later King of Shewa from 1813 to 1847. Then after Ankober declined Menelik switched the Capital back to Berara Entoto Mountians between Yerar and Mengasha Mountians he layyed the new capital of the country as Addis Ababa because of its central location but if you see a map you will actually realize that Addis is in Eastern Central Shewa
