The Asmara Project feasibility study (the “Study”) dated effective May 16, 2013 (amended March 2014), demonstrated that mining the four advanced deposits that make up the Asmara Project (Emba Derho, Adi Nefas, Gupo Gold and Debarwa) and processing of the ore at a central location near the large Emba Derho deposit is economically robust with a pre-tax net present value (“NPV”) of $692 million (using a 10% discount rate) and with a pre-tax internal rate of return (“IRR”) of 34%. The post-tax NPV is $428 million with an IRR of 27%.

The Study outlines a three-phase start-up mining operation which would begin with Phase 1A of high-grade copper DSO production from the Debarwa deposit, followed by Phase 1B heap-leaching of near surface gold, Phase 2 supergene copper production, then zinc and copper at a full production rate of 4 million tonnes per year.

At full production, the Asmara Mine will produce an average annual production of 65 million lbs (29,000 tons) copper, 184 million lbs (83,000 tons) zinc, 42,000 oz gold, and 1 million oz silver over the first 8 years.

can u explain to me what inauguration means i thought it mean when the job is starting so according to Zmeles one billion dollar mining company built and ready to start because they hold inauguration ceremony my question is where is the company all i see is one mud house in the background...

if Zmeles mistake and he means the project is starting then those guest should not have put the foundation stone instead cutting ribbons... in no-man land .... only God knows if i am crazy or those Eritrean all crazy

when is that callaloo going to be finished second let assume what ever you said is right and you guys firing up in all cylinders... in your evidence Eritrean have 2 billion dollar investment and even let assume this 2 billion is total profit net profit according to the wise man Cigar Eritrean government structure investment to be 50 50 i might be mistake he might said 70 for Eritrean and 30 for the investors in any case let take the lower number and Eritrean making one billion dollars .... now my question is since our beloved leader is corruption free this one billion dollar is available for Eritrean to enjoy and finance other project now show me what the hell you guys did from 2012 up to 2022 almost 11 years what is going on i don't see nothing can u kindly tell us what investment the money used for.?
