Over the last three decades the Amharas have tried to establish relevant, competent, broad- based and viable political party (parties) but so far with out success. The Amhara ellities are either sold out to external forces ( such as Neamin Zeleke working for Egypt and Eritrea) or working for the Ethiopian government such as PP Amhara and it's predecessors or they are divided Into pieces by internal rivalries like Semayawi and Andenet party. It looked NAMA was the type of party Amharas aspired for years but within four years it has become divided and a playing ground for the PP. Currently the amorphous armed robber Fano( with out cohesive and clear political goal and partially under the control of Eritrea ) is under pressure to be dissolved or absorbed by the government at the risk of bringing instability and further anarchy to the Amhara state and to the whole Ethiopia. Balderas party also looks one man " vision less and clue less" party which could be paralyzed if Eskinder Nega is out of the scene. Once again we are witnessing the contuination of Amhara state with out a real representative competent party and a play ground for outsiders including disapora Amhara exterimists, Eritrea and Oromia dominated parties like PP which will continue to marginalize Amharas contribution in shaping the future of Amhara & Ethiopia. One could easily conclude from this that Tigray and Oromia based parties shall contuinue to lead the politics of Ethiopia, and Amhara based parties shall contuinue to be followers, despite the noise they make and the victim game they play just to cover up their incompetence.
