# Bring Back Our Access to Red Sea! : The new Map of Ethiopia & 1849 map of Tigray!

Post by Axumezana » 25 Apr 2022, 00:54

The 1849 map of the Horn of Africa disproves ascari claims they were ruled by Turkey for 300 years. The current highlands of Eriteria including the coastal lines near to the Red Sea were part of Tigray. From the 1849 map it looks the Turkish succeeded to block Tigray from accessing the Red Sea , though the distance from Tigray to the Red Sea looks very small near to the Historic Axumite port of Adulis. The proposed new Ethiopia "The River & the Sea map" below , enables Ethiopia)Tigray direct access to the Red Sea. # Bring Back Our Access to Red Sea!
