The Prosperity Party ( as the inheritor of the EPRDF party) equally shares responsibility with the TPLF in the strategic historical mistake that have made Ethiopia the most populated land locked nation on the Earth and for facilitating and cooperating with the regrettable genocidal invasion of Tigray/Ethiopia by the Eritrean government since November 2020. The Prosperty Party has to take full accountability for it's strategic mistakes and take the necessary corrections by joining and leading the #Bring Back Our Access to Red Sea! campaign.
The following actions are required to that effect:
- Condemning and exposing the aggression and invasion of Ethiopia by the Eritrean government
- Declaring that all previous agreements, including the Algiers Agreement ,with Eritrea are null and void.
- Suspending any discussions related to border demarcation with the Eritrean government
- Pronouncing Ethiopia's historic and legal right to have access to the Red Sea
- Reversing the aggression by force and further occupying the land from Assab to the historic Axumite port of Adulis
The boundary between Ethiopia and Eritrea has to be negotiated and agreed with Post- Isaias government of Eriteria, with out compromising Ethiopia's legal and historic right to Access the Red Sea.
