And still we don't see any meaningful business process automation (electronically processing data) in the country today.
I have already posted on this site before few months a link which showed even the Ethiopian Telecommunication Authority is not processing a simple incidence of its customers electronically.
Lack of this led to a total lack of transparency in the whole of the process and with that a total lack of efficiency and customer dissatisfaction, which are all a no-go zone for a serious business.
Ethio-Telecom is not competitive with such level of inefficiency and it could only sustains itself by means of a lack of competitive business orders.
In the absence of of competitive business order, there is also no serious foundation for a meaningful and sustainable development.
Infrastructure development then business process automation and then decision process optimization or even automaton (which is also called Artificial Intelligence), which is the uptodate motivation or paradigm of electronically processing of data.
