Eritrea MoI: Disgraceful Scheme of “Refugee off-shoring’’

Press Statement:

Disgraceful Scheme of “Refugee off-shoring’’

https://shabait.com/2022/04/18/disgrace ... f-shoring/

Apr 18, 2022

The British and Rwandan Governments have announced the signing last week of what has been termed as the
Priti Patel landmark deal
to send, through Charter flights,
asylum-seekers to Rwanda for processing
of their cases under an initial fee of 120 million Pounds.

The illicit scheme provokes a host of questions.

Indeed, the whole package is intended to obscure the underlying causes, dynamics and varied tentacles of the scourge of human trafficking. Apart from vicious conflicts and wars stoked and exacerbated by extraneous agendas, certain countries continue to pursue policies of “strategic depopulation” against some countries for ulterior political motives. These are the vital dimensions that should be addressed for an enduring remedy to the global, multi-layered, crime.

In the event, the cheap and unethical scheme, that has evidently solicited complicity of an African country through financial incentives, must be roundly opposed and deplored.

Archbishop of Canterbury condemns Britain's Rwanda asylum plan

https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/archbi ... 022-04-17/

LONDON, April 17 (Reuters) - The Archbishop of Canterbury has condemned a British plan to send tens of thousands of asylum seekers to the East African country of Rwanda, saying the policy did not stand
the judgment of God.
Delivering a sermon on Easter Sunday at Canterbury Cathedral, Justin Welby said the strategy announced last week by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson posed
serious ethical questions.
Anyone who arrived in Britain illegally since Jan. 1 could be relocated to Rwanda under the deal.

Johnson's government said it would help to break people-smuggling networks and stem the flow of migrants across the Channel, but it drew immediate and heavy criticism from politicians and charities. read more https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/uks-jo ... 022-04-13/

The details are for politics and politicians. The principle must stand the judgment of God and it cannot,
Welby said.
It cannot carry the weight of our national responsibility as a country formed by Christian values, because sub-contracting out our responsibilities, even to a country that seeks to do well like Rwanda, is the opposite of the nature of God who himself took responsibility for our failures,
he said.

Welby is the spiritual leader of the worldwide Anglican Communion of about 85 million Christians.

Last year, more than 28,000 migrants and refugees made the crossing from mainland Europe to Britain.

The arrival of migrants on rickety boats has been a source of tension between France and Britain, especially after 27 migrants drowned when their dinghy deflated in November.

Eritrea presents new peace initiative to end Sudan’s political strife

https://sudantribune.com/article257754/

April 16, 2022 (KHARTOUM) – Eritrean government presented Saturday an initiative to the Chairman of the Sovereign Council in Sudan aimed at ending the political strife in the neighbouring country.

Gen. Abdel-Fattah al-Burhan received, for the second time in six days, an Eritrean delegation including Foreign Minister Osman Saleh, and Presidential Adviser Yemane Ghebreab.

The same delegation met Al-Burhan on April 11 to discuss the political situation in Sudan and expressed the Eritrean government’s solidarity with al-Burhan in his efforts to overcome the ongoing crisis.

According to a statement issued by the Sovereign Council following the meeting, the delegation handed al-Burhan a message from Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki.
The delegation came bearing a vision that aims to bridge the views of the Sudanese parties to resolve the political crisis in the country,
further reads the statement.
The initiative was made out of Eritrea’s keenness and desire to establish security and stability in Sudan and the region,
further said the Sovereign Council.

However, it did not elaborate on the Eritrean initiative.

Eritrea had hosted peace talks to end the conflict in eastern Sudan, and a peace agreement was signed that ended an armed rebellion by the East Front in October 2006.

Eastern Sudan is witnessing political and tribal turmoil due to the rejection of the Hadandawa tribe, one of the components of the Beja, for a peace agreement signed in 2020 with one of the Beja factions.

The UNITAMS, African Union and IGAD are preparing to launch an intra-Sudanese process dealing with the restoration of the civilian transitional government which had been dissolved by the military component in October 2021.

Yes Sir, such kind of robust and principled stand is one of the symbols that make Eritrea stand tall and proud! The European criminals are fully responsible for the pull factor that entice gullible refugees to storm their shores. They have no one but themselves to be blamed. Now, they shamelessly made an agreement with some African countries by offering it some financial bribery! Shame on Europa!

Something wonderous about Pre. Isaias' leadership is, despite the U.S. Treasury Dept. continuously slamming Sanctions on Eritrea's Economy & deliberately restricting the dollar flow, Pre. Isaias never tolerated or accepted a single money laundering proposal from any potential investors.

Look at Mexico 🇲🇽, India 🇮🇳, China 🇨🇳, African Countries, even Eastern Europe & so on, they never declare any amount of U.S. dollar in their possesion,
who cares where & how the money is coming in?,

they just let it pour into their country, but PIA - he is a fan of all Legit- despite the difficulties. 😎

Even many Eritreans failed to explain or validate the source of their money, accordingly, the Gov. of Eritrea blocked them from purchasing even a single Grocery store 🏪 or Hotel in Asmara. The funny thing is, we are a victim of the "Dollar King" as a Nation in the 1st place.

Countries such as China 🇨🇳 & Eritrea 🇪🇷 believe that Globalisation should not be weaponized, neither should it be politicised & there should be no license to steal or speculate & takeover someone's asset/s.

What is even more disgraceful is Eritrea daring to utter about the British shipping its asylum seekers to Rwanda, however inhumane this might be. Eritrea should be the last one on earth to open its mouth with regard to the British scheme. as it should rather focus on solving the issues that force its youth to flee the country en masse to flock into Europe and roam in every corner in the continent seeking asylum, which is no longer granted to them since the recent peace deal between Ethiopia and Eritrea.

Damn! I dislike people 'who flee in mass' or 'vote with their feet, ' to turn around and vote in mass with their money.

No amount of shenanigans or wishful thinking from our enemies could make them relinquish the deep-seated Eritreaness!

Rwanda leadership should be ashamed for even considering such a scheme. The neo-colonial western leaders that enticed/invited the hordes should be responsible for integrating them into their socities/nations. They encouraged people to leave their homes to travel thousands of miles & waste many years/time just to reach their shores and when they finally do; they tell them sorry there is no room.

One example these governments were encouraging/aiding Eritreans to leave their homeland and once they got flooded with all sorts of people claiming to be eritrean they demanded the eritrean govt to accept the deportation of thousands. They had the nerve to demand the eritrean govt/nation (whom they vilified & unjustly economically sanctioned) to take back migrants that they encouraged to leave in the first place. Thankfully the Eritrean leadership said no to forced repatriation/deportation but will accept those that want to return freely.

Shame on Rwanda leadership for trying to profiteer on hardships of fellow Africans!! According to some staffs of UNHCR, Rwanda was even involved in another scheme of taking Tigrayan migrants from other nations to give them space for military training so that they could be recruited to the terrorist TPLF war on Ethiopia.

To my European brothers/sisters please remember the flood of immigrants was invited by your leaders as a distraction from the austerity & banking fiasco that was happening in your nations. It seems your leaders chose to follow model of US by creating means/reasons/NAFTA for Mexicans to immigrate to US then to turn around & want to build a wall...again another distraction from the banking bailouts & housing fiasco. Now these same leaders on both sides of Atlantic want to fan flames of WW3 & monetary collapse/realignment so they are not held accountable for all their thefts in the confusion they want to create.

AbysiniaLady/Somaliman/Zack keep Eritrea(ns) name out your TPLF agame mouths!!
