Brother Selam, not at all. They always pretend as if they appreciate any champions success, by associating themselves and ‘christened’ them as they say ‘the north mereb Tegarus’.
The thing is that shamelessly they call any achieving Eritrean a tigrawai/ti and call all the refugees including their own are Eritreans.
The achieving Eritreans are called ‘north mereb’ tegarus while the ‘south mereb’ identity thieves tegarus are Eritreans. And oh yeah the tegarus who represent Ethiopia’s flag and who win are called tegarus.
