Selam you are correct and wrong at the same time.
Yes, I shouldn’t be the mouth piece of all Eritreans or the world for that matter.
So, you are right on that.
But I don’t believe in the so called fictional ‘creature’ called god, I hate all kinds of religions, I hate all the beliefs systems which are visible in every day life costumes and accessories in public, I don’t like worshipping places.
It is obvious that religion (my god is greater or better than yours) is doing more harm to humanity than getting them closer to each other.
And even though that Eritreans or other nationals want to practice it, I am advocating that Eritreans drop this crap. The Eritreans living in harmony in spite of their religions or ethnicity is not good enough for me.
And I don’t get it why people need different religions and gods when what they tell us is it helps people to be nice to each other, don’t hart any one and all the obvious good things?
So, why do people do the good things because some book or god tells them to do? Why can’t they just use their heads to be the best loving human being by them selves?
Well if they do the good stuff, because a book or a fictional character tells them, then they are fake. Doing it because you believe it is the right thing to do (which is me) and doing the good things because one is scared by the fictional character called devil are not the same in my eyes.

I try to help to those who are unfortunate and can’t help themselves not the other way around. Where was he when our needy people needed him? You seem to be more occupied with what other people believe in and how they practice their belief than your own moral sentiments & personal relationship with God. If others are your benchmarks for believing or not believing in God, I am afraid to tell you that you’ve embarked on a conjunction fallacy like those who attribute their non-religiosity to bad church practices. That’s a weak argument. But it’s your right not to believe as it’s equally my right to believe in and love God. What isn’t right is to try to impose our beliefs or life principles on others and tear down each other.

You love your enemy for your sake , if not you will have sleep less and peace less nights speculating and planning on how to harm your enemy which is self destructive. Once you forgive and love your enemy , you will enjoy every second of your life. You may not like what I am saying but that is a fact. The problem we have in both sides of the Mereb river is jealousy and not forgiving to each other. Reconcilation and re- establishing positive relationships based on self respect and positive competition is the way forward.

So, rather than echoing what other worshippers may have said, read the scriptures for yourself first or don’t bother to say anything. I worship God for self-maintenance & self-transcendence, not to adhere to other people’s beliefs or culture. God has the power to alter people’s brain if they truly believe in Him.
