TPLF has many weaknesses. It is not perfect but still the best organisation in Ethiopia in terms of discipline and care to the people of Tigray. Of course it undemocratic, despotic and sentimental towards Eritreans even though Eritrea is at war with Tigray siding with Amara and other reactionary forces in Ethiopia, including Colonel Abiy Ahmed Ali, who committed crimes against humanity.

TPLF however has become a victim of it's own making: Ethnic Federalism. Ethnic Federalism is not the solution. The solution should be between unitary state and federalism. If you apply Ethnic Federalism in Ethiopia, there will be about 100 regional states, wanting to exercise self-determination. We need to be pragmatist and focus on what is common to all of these tribes.

Unifying elements such Orthodox Christianity, The Adwa Battle, Geez Language and literature etc should be brought forward to society. We need to punish those who promote ethnic discrimination at schools and other places. Death penalty to all who discriminate ethnic groups should be given. TPLF paid lip service to Ethnic Equality. On the other hand it did not fight ethnic based narrow nationalism. People have a right to enjoy their culture. But TPLF focused only on that. People also have the obligation to respect other cultures. TPLF should have eliminated The Amara and Eritrean fascists who were spreading conflict in Ethiopia. TPLF was too soft. Now the Tigray people have to pay the price for the stupidy of TPLF leaders. Still however, Tigray people will stand with TPLF until kingdom cometh. For most Tigrayans, it is a calling to support TPLF. It is an honour and we hope TPLF leaders change and empower the people of Tigray so that there will be no threat to them in the future.
