Breaking news!
We are officially registered, as an UCI Continental Team. This new team, registered in Rwanda, is created by an Initiative of Eritrean professionals & enthousiasts. We are aiming to race, international races. The whole team is still hard at work, to finalize the details. The History behind the name of May Stars is: the month of May is the Month of Eritrea's Independence. As the second of May being a historic month in Africa as well, as the OAU was founded in May. We would like to thank the Rwandan federation @cyclingrwanda as well as the Eritrean federation for their massive support, to make this all a reality. Founded by Eritreans cycling enthusiasts, @Maystarscycling (MSR) has 6 Rwandan and 5 Eritrean riders. The representative of the @Maystarscycling is Rukundo Samuel, Aklilu Haile Zeweldi (sports director) and Yonas Goitom Tesfamariam (assistant sports director).[/b]

The Eritrean National Athletics Federation (ENAF), announced today that the town of Mendefera will host the 2022 Eritrean U18 National Track and field Championships & the Eritrean National 10km championships, from 11-13 March. Last year, the town of Keren hosted a colorful & memorable championship.
