Will Eritrea recognize the breakaway Ukraine states as it recognized annexation of Crimea & the precedent on Assab?

Post by sarcasm » 24 Feb 2022, 21:49

Will Eritrea be the first country to recognize the new breakaway states from Ukraine as it did with it's visit to Crimea when the entire world opposed the annexation?

Ukraine Condemns Eritrea for visiting Crimea

Yesterday, Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a press statement protesting the visit of senior Eritrean officials to Crimea which came at the invitation of the Russian Federation. The statement said:

MFA expresses its strong protest to Eritrean side over not approved by Ukraine visit on June 5-6, 2014 of Minister for Foreign Affairs of the State of Eritrea Osman Mohammed Saleh to the temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

Ukraine considers that visit as an unfriendly step, blatant disregard of international law by Eritrean side as well as a flagrant violation of Ukrainian sovereignty and domestic law, of the UN Charter and the UN General Assembly resolution "Territorial integrity of Ukraine" adopted on March 27, 2014, that may have deeply negative effect on further development of Ukrainian - Eritrean relations.

We call on the Eritrean side to respect strictly the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine and to comply with the international law.

If you support Amhara to annex ancestral territories, you support Afar to annex ancestral territories in Denkalia and Assab; and you support Russians annex ancestral territories. It is a very simple principle.

I have never heard a single Ethiopian Afar or Afar from Djibouti claiming Eritrean Denkalia or Assab ever. But I know agames dream about Eritrean Denkalia and Assab more than any body in Ethiopia... Everybody knows that agames had the intention to annex Afar killil through fake referendum after relocating millions of Agames to Afar killil. Then the second step would be of course making official claim of Eritrean Denkalia and Assab in order to make your Tigray Republic dream come true...   Today agames' evil dream shattered in front of our very eyes and your Tigray is smaller than ever  .... Sadly, agames have been committing war crimes against the people of Afar because the people of Afar once again showed their unwavering loyalty and integrity to their Ethiopian identity... May God save the people of Afar.

After all, you agames were the first who had annexed Welqait, Humera, Tselemet and Raya even way before Russia did to Crimea by committing ethnic cleansing on the Amhara people. Then your beloved TPLF terrorist group relocated hundreds of thousands of agames to the fertile lands of Amhara. Thanks to Fano warriors, the people of Amhara have reclaimed majority of their legal and ancesteral fertile lands back from you agames ... !!!

Having said that I personally don't support the aggression of Russia against Ukraine or any country for that matter.. Because there is what it is called International Law!!!

Meles Zenawi Spends $100 Million to Buy 200 previously used T-72 tanks from the Ukraine

Posted by: ecadforum June 10, 2011

KIEV, Ukraine, June 9 (UPI) — TPLF is in discussions with Ukraine to buy more than 200 T-72 tanks.

The deal is projected to be worth more than $100 million, Ukrinform news agency reported Thursday.

The Ukrainian state-controlled arms exporter stated that its deal with TPLF’s Defense Ministry for 200 T-72 tanks is one of its largest contracts since the company’s establishment in the wake of the collapse of the Soviet Union in December 1991.

The T-72 tank was originally produced in the Soviet Union in the 1970s and widely exported to African, Asian and Middle Eastern states as one of the Soviet Union’s premier weapons systems.
