I could say the same thing about Biden. Since he has become president the price of everything was going up. I pay a lot to fill up gas in my car. I pay much more for groceries. But I am not simple minded to put blame on Biden for everything that has happened under his leadership. I am not an economist. Besides having one economic 101 class in college, I am unfamiliar with the subject. But I have a common sense. That common sense guides me to believe that many factors contribute to an increasing inflation. Yes, a leader cannot be absolutely blame free. But to believe even more outright advocate he has the ability to turn the economy on and off as he wishes might only be the product of a feeble mind. And one more thing : it is prudent and essential to take into account the effect COVID 19 has on the current world economy.

The economic problem in fact could not be blamed on Abiy Ahmed alone. The health of the economy was affected long time ago by TPLF itself. The problem with Abiy Ahmed is he kept the TPLF policy, financial system as well as culture intact. A corruptive and inefficient financial and economic system resulted in such crisis. At the sometimes, the war took a heavy toll on the economy, it is not reasonable to complain much about how poor the economy is while million of citizens lost their lives and priority shifted in procuring armaments such as Drones. My complain is much about Abiy Ahmed's inefficiency or sabotage about handling of the war - this cost the economy. For instance, his policy of 'Let Tigres farm their land in the rainy season and Amhara bleed' hurt the economy and the outcome of the November 2020 victory. He expended too much resource and live for a war already won with the lowest cost. The ENDF su.cked a lot resources but it is the Fano with the least resource that thwarted TPLF from taking over the country. Thus, the leadership has to focus on its priority, it is impossible to have twin or multiple priorities.
