Re: Can Abiy Ahmed’s national dialogue end Ethiopia's war?
At what cost and with what agenda ? Hidden to public
To "legitimize" some tribalists agenda ? Maybe
One can't stick to and rounded by tribalists and expect a different outcome

"End Ethiopia's war?" As of me, for so many reasons, the kickoff of the national dialogue does mean nothing but opening the Pandora box.

The participants on this discussion hosted by Aljazeera were mostly TPLF mouthpieces. CNN must be burning with envy. And one can be only described as seeking honorary membership from TPLF and a dedicated servant of the west.

Is Tedale Lemma of Tigray origin? Hard to tell ethnicity just by looking at her but she definitely echos the TPLF agenda with dedication in whatever forum she finds.
Re: Can Abiy Ahmed’s national dialogue end Ethiopia's war?
No body needs the National Dialogue. Everybody understood the situation the country is facing - that was why the last National Election was carried out with the blessing from all of the opposition party. They need the country to take sometime until the conflict with TPLF is completed so that a sober national discussion and debate could take place at some later date. The only two enemies or anti-Ethiopian elements are TPLF and OLF. Abiy Ahmed pulled this Sh!t National Dialogue of his arse. This means the dialogue is between him and TPLF/OLF. This guy is just miscarrying the opportunity of Ethiopians. He is not talking to Ethiopian common people, he is talking about Merara Gudina, Dwud Ibsa, Jawar, Debretsion, Getachew Reda, and the like. These are the most abhorred people no Ethiopian want to hear off their voice or see them.

If it were definately established that Abebe is of Amhara origin my next question would have been this : What motivates an educated guy like him to militate against the just cause of his people ?Revelations wrote: ↑05 Feb 2022, 13:15Is Tedale Lemma of Tigray origin? It is easy to act as a wise and knowledgeable person and to pontificate about the importance of peace if you are not directly involved in a serious issue.
The aimable and articulate Solomon tried to drive the smart journalist crazy by refusing to answer his question about ድርድር in a concrete fashion. For Solomon the whole issue is a game and a never-ending process. ስለምን እንደራደራለን ? ስለ ድርድር !!! ( ኣማራና ትግሬዎች ስለ ምድረ-ኣማራ ዝም ብለው ይደራደራሉ ።

Re: Can Abiy Ahmed’s national dialogue end Ethiopia's war?
We know Merara Gudina is the man between TPLF and Abiy Ahmed. He runs TPLF's message to Abiy Ahmed; and back to TPLF.
Re: Can Abiy Ahmed’s national dialogue end Ethiopia's war?
When PM Abiy made an official visit to Tigray in April of 2018 and met with TPLF leaders seeking to reconcile their differences, as well as give them assurances that he was willing to let bygones be bygones, that was his attempt at launching a national dialogue process on his own initiative which the TPLF had rejected to participate, and where two months later in June of 2018 they plotted to assassinate the Prime Minister by hurling a grenade as he attended a public rally in Addis Ababa.
The TPLF terrorists that thrive on wars and chaos cannot be expected to enter into a dialogue even if their lives depend on it. Which is why I find it very funny that the Al-Jazeera media network that's owned by the Emir of Qatar, with a nudge and a wink from its Neo-colonial allies, is calling for a national dialogue in Ethiopia by inviting useful idiots at the Neo-colonialists' payroll.
The question is why now, after the TPLF terrorist group was decimated en route to the capital and pushed back to its enclave, they are calling for a dialogue? Is it even possible to conduct a dialogue with a terrorist organization that Belaynesh Amedie has declared it dead?

Why now? Ayatollah Abiy doesn't want tribal politics scrapped from the country because oromuma wants tribal partners. This war has never been to the Interest of Ethiopians. It has been all about who is going to control 4killo

It is true that Al-jazeera English is owned by the Emir of Qatar but it is run by the Americans directly or indirectly( so nudge and wink are not needed, the station is theirs and the agenda likewise). That is why Al-jazeera English unlike Al-jazeera Arabic has always been anti-Eritrean.Abdisa wrote: ↑05 Feb 2022, 15:47When PM Abiy made an official visit to Tigray in April of 2018 and met with TPLF leaders seeking to reconcile their differences, as well as give them assurances that he was willing to let bygones be bygones, that was his attempt at launching a national dialogue process on his own initiative which the TPLF had rejected to participate, and where two months later in June of 2018 they plotted to assassinate the Prime Minister by hurling a grenade as he attended a public rally in Addis Ababa.
