Aside from wolloye, the rest of Amhara fanos are great worriers. However, Gojjam, Gonder, and Showa fanos had not provided with appropriate training and armaments. They fought 30 years of long prepared agamewoch with rusty and outdated rifles.

It is my honest personal observation.

This is fact and has been confirmed by my rayan friends. The most coward Amharas are from south wollo they downlooked amhara nationalism and only prefered Ethiopianism. But not all Wollo Amharas are cowards each group are different.

Historically Debub Wollo aka Bete Amhara was the ruler of Ethiopia. Documents from the 14th century show that the Emperor of Bete Amhara were the kings of kings (20 Provinces) across Ethiopia submitted to them.

It was once Ahmed Gragn came everything changed. many warriors were killed many churches were destroyed and the people forgot their identity and history which span the days of axum. That is how Ahmed Gragn managed to convert many Christians of South Wollo to Islam. once the Gallas arrived there was no resistance the gallas established camps/settlements like Werebabo WereIllu and other galla names into the area. today a galla says to a South Wolloye that your land has our names and we claim it. they have no response, galla likes to prey on the weak. weyane only went to wollo so they could enter addis and try to repeat the terror of losing in 17 days onto other people just as in afar.

The first step to reversing this 500-year curse is not by religion but by mentality all districts of South Wolloye and East Wolloye must join Fano all youths must join Fano and learn their history. History books must be made to educate these people about their history. Amharas from Gondar GOjjam and Shewa should instruct them as well

This is very childish.

First, Mr. Fed-up made a paralyzed, I don't know whether he intentionally wanted to divide one Whole Amhara into distinct entities or just was he simply is fade up with this whole war situation in Ethiopia.

Second, Mr. Noble Amhara, not only paralyzed the fact but destroyed its entire soul by further dividing Amhara into Zones, Woredas, etc.

In my opinion before drawing a prejudiced conclusion, it is always wise to put an array of facts that support the conclusion. First, Wollo or Bete-Amhara took about 70% of the brunt of the war. As the recent interview with General Abebaw confirmed the ENDF was 100% occupied and duty bound in Gondar and Afar to deny TPLF access - which means Wollo did not get any attention at all. Thus, the war was entirely conducted in Wollo between TPLF and Wollo people. The Wollo people with their barehand fought for about 5-6 months, they took the heat for entire Ethiopia. If all the TPLF effort were somewhere else concentrated that much I am more than 100% TPLF could have busted just in ONE month. TPLF was foolish. Wollo are firefighters and they should be applauded to fight alone 6 months as province with TPLF which armed at a sovereign country level. Those of just making such comparative analysis should be ashamed of yourself.

It should be also noted about 25-40% of TPLF army were destroyed in Wollo. That means the Wolloye were the one that wiped out TPLF's army despite all the sabotages from the Federal government. They were the one who first exposed sabotages of the government force, not anyone else before. Although it is ridiculous to talk about Zone and Woreda level engagements, I would like to commend the South Wollo Amhara people for they chased TPLF within a few weeks time. The TPLF army was wiped out in Kuta-ber, Alansha, Akesta, etc despite the ENDF were for the first time seen to engage TPLF by air force to defend the city of Dessie, it was too late because ENDF ignored TPLF for several months in Wollo. As a result, the capital city fell which means the guerilla fight continued and TPLF lasted only a month in South Wollo. It is pure prejudice or ill intent to divide Amhara to just blame for the entire stupidness of the country leaving all the year long war for farmers of one province of Wollo. Wollo, is indeed, the land of the braves that took the heat alone (without any help from ENDF) and wiped out TPLF rag tags - they were not propped up by ENDF. It is wise to not delve into pity issues that will affect Amhara unity. Amhara soul is one and that soul is marked by bravery, faithfulness and patriotism. Anyone doing childish remark is an enemy of Amhara.

How is it possible for wollo farmers who don't even have disQa can equally fight with a TPLF army that came with Tanks, BMS, DisQa with all military might it accumulated the last 27 years? The farmers at wollo resorted to guerella fight and they did enough damage for ENDF to be able to cut the agames in half at Kobo and and many places.
