Addis will not be able to subdue Bahirdar. Even with TPLF at its side, it's an almost impossibility.
Last time Abiy sent his security to Mekele to arrest the regional leadership, they were arrested themselves by the regional security force . Let's see how this plays out. If Abiy gets away with this, it's because the regional government must be deeply divided in which case he plays one against the other. Even if he succeeds, it will only be temporary. Amara people will rise up just as any people would.
My advice is for Abiy accept Amara people's right to pick or remove their own leaders.
