I second that! It is good that Jawar and Bekele and the TPLF bigwigs are released. What makes me sad is the needless murder of the seasoned diplomat Seyom and the astute politician Abay Tsehaye and the genius Asmelash ? Iskindir is just a side kick who should have rotten in Jail for he is fighting for the rights of Addis Abebe. Meaza Mohamed should still remain in Jail because she never will shut up speaking about mass murderers.

The only misgiving I have is the perpetuation of the schism among the Orommuma adherents. Despite the strategic objectives being same, the means to get there will be riffled. The result is a continued murder of citizens who are a threat to ethnic politics....and that is a small price to pay. Hopefully the PM will be safe to reign in the new era of his kingdom.

This is not about convicting criminals, where you might be tempted to ask why are they are given equal verdict.

Main thing is that if you have trespassed the rule of the law, then you are all on the wrong side of the law and need to be tried according to the rule of law.

Whether it is minor or not, Eskinder did violate the rule of the law, just like those who opened war and instigated mutiny against the state, the scale may differ.

Pardoning can't be asked to be in par for all, I think.

We pardon all, small or big, the same way.

But I am not all for the pardon here.

If it happened it is also okay.

Our grauntee is to keep ourselves strong and defend ourselves as a nation, nothing is for granted.
