Here is my opinion,abiy wants to hit 2 birds with 1 stone.He got the amharas destroyed by shifta tplf and he made secret deal with shifta tplf of don't come to addis-abeba and i will not come to mekele.And he secretly made a deal with shifta tplf to attack eritrea,that way he killed 2 birds with 1 stone.And by not following shifta tplf to mekele abiy just declared tigrai an independent country. This abiy guy is not a a joke.

By not going to mekele,abiy accepted tigrai independence.abiy to shifta tplf start war with eritrea.
