I think I would know more about my family than you when it comes to Atse Tewodros née Kassa Hailu. His father’s name was Haile Giorgis Wolde Giorgis. First and foremost I commend you for responding not with petty insults but with a modicum of civility and from a place of substance over vitriol. That said, I never said that Atse Tewodros was Tigaru, I said his father was and that his mom was Ahmara. I always saw him as I see myself, as Ethiopian. Period. I find it odd that his father would use his Christina name over his real name but I’m not one to dismiss points without doing additional research so I will call up a respected historian to verify claims you made below. Let’s just say that his dad’s ethnicity is unsettled for now but surely you don’t deny that Atse Tewodros’s granddaughter Simeon and his great-granddaughter Selas (which is Tigriam name) both married Tigriam Rases by the name of Ras Gebreyohannes and Ras Bisewer Samuel. Again I know this because my dad Fikremariam Million’s real name was Bisewer because he was named after his great-grandfather.
