This is plausible as Abiy does not trust ANDM and he doesn’t trust OPDO structure. ANDM has tremendous pressure from its constituents that believe Abiy is conspiring to weaken their people. OPDO is highly infiltrated by OLF and OFC at all levels. This makes both unreliable on sensitive secrets.

I call using the Eritrean alliance for War purpose is more of a windfall to Ethiopia.
