Every big city around the world, in America, Europe, Asia, Africa etc., has seen the flush of green-yellow-red flags flying high this year on its public squares and major streets.
Ethiopia is reintroduced to the world as a vibrant, defiant and most importantly just and peace loving resilient society to the world, so that the aggressor needed to pause themselves and ask themselves what they did wrong, why is business not as usual for us this time around?
Ethiopia and justice won, while neo-colonialism is being put on a big notice of its actions.
United we prevail, divided we will perish.

People are generally short thinkers - we take a considerable amount of time to grasp the significance, the consequence and future implications of events. This historic reality unfolding before our own eyes is so strange and unseen in our life time it will take some time even for us Ethiopian to fully digest it.
It is true that the Ethiopian diaspora has spanned the whole globe with significant presence in every country of the world. It is true that Ethiopians love their nation, etc. But no one, not even the most die-hard Ethiopian nationalists like you and I would imagine the current uprising in 2018. I had never believed that Ethiopia will disintegrate and I truly believed that tribal divisions would persist at least for one generation - a good 20 years.
I also believed that Abiy and the Oromos in power will slowly be forced to come to the center but never in my dreams had I imagined to see Adwa replayed in 2021! Yes, we all knew that Ethiopia was historic and symbol of African freedom but who would imagine even a year ago that Ethiopia would become the central anti-American anti-colonial beacon light of Africa in 2021?
Yes, we Ethiopians spread out throughout the 170 nations of the world, speaking every language of the world, knowledgeable of evry cultureand intermarried to every nationality on planet earth are rising like volcano covering the globe with that tri-color sign of God's covenant to man, the rainbow - Green-yellow- red!
Just imagine how much effort and money America spends to train its foreign service corps in world languages, cultures, etc. Abiy Ahmed has at his disposal thousands of ambassadors in every country on planet earth and he has just taken legitimate power. And, now these Ethiopian global ambassadors are also becoming advocates and organizers of the African diaspora and the Black Race of this planet.
When was the last time twitter shut down service due to fear of a global uprising? We are making history. The world is again re-experiencing Ethiopians - the beautiful, humble, shy, peaceful but unconquerable, unbreakable, proud and brave people!
