To make matters worse the US General in command of their base in Djibouti, lying at the entrance to the Red Sea, made it clear that the US was prepared to attack Ethiopia from Djibouti, leaving Ethiopia little choice but to quietly begin preparations to force Djibouti, economically dependent on Ethiopia, to close down this threat.

Isaias Afwerki, the good for nothing elderly alcoholic dictator is very much obsessed with pitting Ethiopia against Djibouti, but so far to no avail.

Ethiopia doesn't have the ability to set HOA policy agenda or to influence Djibouti, Besides, Djibouti is free and independent nation, It should not be dragged into Ethiopia conflict, If some people think that Djibouti is economically dependent on aid-dependent Ethiopia, They are mistaken, Djibouti's economy doesn't rely on Ethiopia.

Ethiopia needs Djibouti more than Djibouti needs Ethiopia, It has no other alternative than to depend on Djibouti, Suppose Djibouti Ethiopia’s borders suddenly close and goods can no longer enter or exit war torn Ethiopia through the port of Djibouti, In no time the lack of fuel brings economic activity and daily life to a stand still, So again, 120 million Ethiopians need Djibouti, Nonetheless, Djibouti and Ethiopia have enjoyed close and friendly relations since 1977 and will continue to be the example of good neighborly countries.

Djibouti is Cushitic Republic. It's inline with Somalia, Somali Region, Agew zone, Sidama, Danakil, occupied Afar Region of Eritrea, Bilen, Kassala and Bantu occupied Somali Kenya (NFD).
