Why do you expect Abiy to understand what she wanted to say? We know he's a genius but, you're asking him to understand Stalin's mind? :~)
It sounded like, "What....expect.... do.... in your....stay?" Today or Tomorrow? Is what he guessed; his guess is as good as anybody's!
