Re: Mr. Mustafa Omer
Just when almost everyone wrote off Ethiopia as irrevocably bound to being a client state, a neo-colony, and an aid darling of the West, there emerged a new breed of young Ethiopians like President Mustafe Omar who abhor the status quo, and are saying "Not this time!"
Ethiopia rising from the ashes.
Ethiopia rising from the ashes.
Re: Mr. Mustafa Omer
You guys know what is very sad though?
Every freaking east African citizen and their leadership in particular and the whole Africa in general was snoozing while Eritrea was fighting these neocolonilists for over 60, 70 years particularly in the last 3 decades and get pounded and made Eritrea to go 5 steps backwards and now again with Eritrea's initiative the peace Nobel prize winner PMAA decided to join Eritrea, still Eritrea is not getting its right full due credit. Heck you all were not only snoozing, but even narrating their evil media narratives against Eritrea. Sad.
I say, late is better than never, but come on now, comparing to Ethiopia's temporary hiccups, it is incomparable to what Eritrea and Eritreans paid to get Ethiopians galvanized to free their own country and to make Ethiopia to stand in its own feet.
What I am saying is that granted millions of Ethiopians are paying their gratitude to Eritrea coming to their aid in their difficult time, and made them understand that aid cripples societies and he who feeds you controls you (PIA 3 decades old speech) and are ready to be an upright country which writes its destiny like Eritrea, but the African brothers and sisters are still blindfolded to what Eritrea paid for Ethiopia to magnify it.
They still are stuck with Thomas Sankara, Lumumba, Gadaffi etc when there is PIA still standing doing and saying much stronger things and speeches.
I am glad his speeches are in Tigrigna, sometimes in Arabic or Tgre languages.
Had they were in English or French, they could have reached a broader audience in Africa and God forbid he could have been faced their fate.
This upright man, never changed his stand since he was in his early 20s while he was in the Eritrean jungles.
But as an Eritrean, I could care less, if Ethiopia really mean it and take the rest of the regional countries to what PIA was advocating in his entire life. We all need to live in peace, comingle our economy, trade and make east Africa the heaven of Africa.
The selling out of some of the region leadership is why we all can't move forward with out depending on handouts....at least Eritrea didn't do it, and because of it, it got punished, but still standing.

They want to pit us against each other so they can exploit our resources. It's not going to happen. #no more neo-colonialism
Re: Mr. Mustafa Omer
# no more wars between
