In my understanding, the derogative word Negro used by White slave owner was associated with the Niger river of West Africa. My question to you is, do you call yourself a Negro? What do you call your self?
In my understanding, the derogative word Negro used by White slave owner was associated with the Niger river of West Africa. If you are from East Africa, you are familiar and tend to talk more about Ghion/Abay/ river and the civilizations along it. This does not lessen the value Ethiopia being not only a Biblical country where the river of Ghion is found as well as its pre-historic of anthropological/archeological place for being the cradle of mankind.
