I abhor the question. It suggests Dawed has the support of the majority of Oromos. That is not the case. Dawed even in Wellega has no the majority of Oromos support let alone in the whole Oromia.

This wholesale political strategy is unacceptable. Okay, we like her readiness to defend Addis Ababa city at the same time but we are not defending it for the opportune moment or best time of article 39. There has to a clear line drawn how much the PP officials are different from TPLF. Going back in time, that difference was insignificant perhaps 3 years ago. Where are they now?

The best way to keep Ethiopian unity is to be liberal about it. Who ever wants to go, let them go. But, once gone, it should be gone forever.

It is a legit question. But it is already answered. Oromuma has been preparing the ground for the independence of Oromia. And the two obstacles are Tigray and Amhara. If they manage to rid of Tigray region then the only remaining obstacle, Amhara, will be a cake walk. That is why they are loving and keeping the constitution. As for Oromo people support for separtion from Amhara, ask the simple question, "which oromo elit ever talked about unity?". The majority oromo people are brainwashed to believing Amhara is evil and occupier and the source of all poverty in Oromia. So they will vote for independence even if such referendum will be conducted in a fair and transparent manner unlike the last election.

Do you know any oromo that is not the supporter of OLF, including Abiy. Abiy has claimed publicly that he was working covertly for OLF for many years while he was serving his previous master and adopted parent, Woyane. Everyone of them are haters of Amhara (neftegna).

In as much painful as it is, we need to openly discuss about this issues for the way forward is most likely going to be the repeat of what we are going thru. The way the regions are structured currently and the so called constitution that is backing it up is a prelude for a complete disintegration. It was done by design. One should ask why the current conflict come about while nothing has been changed in terms of the political modes operandi. Unless the incentive for independence is taken out of the very basic structure, the demand will only continue to intensify. It is very irresponsible to place all your eggs in one basket and hope that the probability of losing it all isn't possible.

Leaving aside the internal divisions of the various factions within the Oromo political elites, there is one galvanizing element that have come to the forefront for whoever is willing to observe, i.e., the demand to rule over others and the need to become the replacement of TPLF style leadership with a different "convince or confuse" strategy.

Unless the outcome of the current war brings about a meaningful power balance, I see no reason why the unchecked domination of the current rulers won't be perpetuated. The Jawar Vs Abiy VS Ibssa Vs others bitter schism is only about who should be sitting on the throne and the selected means to get there than what should be achieved as objective. Unity is very preferable not only for peace to reign in Ethiopia but also for the stability of the wider HOA. However, what kind of unity is the big question that everybody is pondering on. It certainly isn't going to be a unitary unity nor shall it be the one ethnic dominated slavery and apartheid. That is the very first key element to agree on.
