Abbiy needs to stand firm

Post by Blueshift » 16 Nov 2021, 18:55

TPLF is nice only when it is cornered. It will betray the Oromo struggle like it did before. The best way to handle TPLF should be the job of the parliament. Let parliament vote whether to keep Tigray as part of Ethiopia or not. This is coming from a person who does not agree with either Abbiy or Isayas agenda. I am not against the people of Tigray either. The Welqait issue should be settled by the people who live in Welqait.  I support referendum for Welqait and the other contested areas by Amharas and Tigrayans.

It is not the responsibility of the parliament to decide who is going to be Ethiopian or not. It is the decision of the Tigrian people themselves. What the Ethiopian parliament need to do is that Tigrians are free to decide their fate. No TPLF or other Ethiopians should decide for them. At this time once the Ethiopian people keep weyanes out of the other regions -- no Ethiopian should go in to spell Tgrian blood whether they are Weyane supporters or not. As far as Welqait concerned it is back to its historical place no referendum is required. Weyane has worked 27 to change the demography of Welkite by uprooting the welkite people and repopulating it by tigrians from the center -- when the demography goes back to the level it was before weyane take over then we might talk about referendum . on both counts your take is wrong .

TGAA,

There is a land mark decision on it. Malaysia kicked Singapore successfully. This happened after the Second World War.
In the sixties. That is the convention the UN follows.
