This is my personal opinion. What is Uhuru Kenyatta doing in Addis Abeba? Why so many frequent trips? Here is what I think. Thanks to old Obama day groupies & buddies of TPLF - Biden, Susan Rice, Blinken, Samanta, Feltman and others - have successfully severed the age old US- Ethiopian relations and as we speak, Ethiopia is in the biggest war in the world probably close to half a million fighters engaged on both sides.

America has effectively allied and backed the mortal enemies of the Ethiopian state - FPLF, Egypt & Sudan. And, America in a short one year time has become the largest hotbed of anti-American intervention in Africa. In short, the bridge connecting Ethiopia and USA is badly damaged creating a massive trust breakdown between them. Ethiopians are deeply angry and worried about American intentions and America is deeply shocked by Ethiopia behavior of a call for Adwa like national rising.

In my view, Uhuru Kenyatta is effectively playing the role of an American good will ambassador and a middle man between the White House & the Menelik ግቢ። Feltman is so toxic that America had to find someone to fill up the TRUST GAP, hence Uhuru Keyatta.
