John R. Stockwell is a former CIA officer who became a critic of United States government policies after serving in the Agency for thirteen years serving seven tours of duty. After managing U.S. involvement in the Angolan Civil War as Chief of the Angola Task Force during its 1975 covert operations, he resigned and wrote "In Search of Enemies", a book which remains the only detailed, insider's account of a major CIA "covert action."

Africans know much better than I do and I wouldn't like to pretend to present what is at stake here. But I said before a year on this forum that one of the points why many third world countries are targetted is their aspiration of having a nationalist leader. Abiy Ahmed's crime here is that he is a nationalist leader, just like Mengistu Haile Mariam, HIM Haile Selassie, all of them had issues with the "ሃያልያን ሀይሎች". But why?
Why was TPLF's rule not subjected to such animosity, from those we considered partners all along?
The difference is that TPLF ruled the country without ever calling it its own country, forget about calling it great country, rather called it with contempt (ይህች ኢትዮጵያ የምትባል አገር)።
Is there anybody else around the world that called a country which that body leads with such a contempt?

Consent, using mass population management can be achieved by usingelements of Hegelian Dialectics. Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770-1831) , the political and social scientist and professor at the University ofBerlin from 1817 until his death in 1831, clearly defined hisphilosophical/political concepts that came to be known as Hegelianism. Hisideas are still taught and authors continue to elaborate on his philosophies,though inattentive Americans fail to acknowledge or even distinguish theirapplication in our own society despite the obvious and devastating consequences.

ran a CIA intelligence-gathering post in Vietnam, was the task-force commander of the CIA's
secret war in Angola in 1975 and 1976, and was awarded the Medal of Merit before he
resigned. Stockwell's book In Search of Enemies, published by W.W. Norton 1978, is an
international best-seller.
