TDF & Tigarus must consider the fate of others when making any negotiation.

Post by tolcha » 09 Nov 2021, 04:55

I come to the conclusion that Tigaru officials should make any negotiation/ recounsellatlion process with central gov as a unison including the parties it declares it is working with- including the Agew, Qimant, Beneshangual , OLA, Somali and the rest liberation fronts. In that way, Tigarus can develop trust with these groups and work together for generations to come. If TDF prioritize only it’s needs, it won’t last longer. Mark my word.

The inept central gov may consider divide and conquer strategy, by making negotiation with Tigarus, but neglecting the value of other liberation parties mentioned above.

In a federal system like the one in Ethiopia, the federal government must be the weakest in the day to day life of the regions. But what we see now is Abiy trying to micro manage the affairs of the regions including selecting the regional presidents. Woyane was doing it as well. That is why federal system hasn't worked and we are in this mess. Election, education, taxation and budgetary policies of the regions should not be dectated from Arat Killo. If TPLF as a tigray region ruler was left alone in its choice of its election, we wouldn't have this war started.
