US has no right to tell either the Ethiopian government or TPLF where it should or shouldn’t move within Ethiopia. Let TPLF enjoys its adventure for awhile before Ethiopians will put a stop to it.

America can order TPLF to leave the whole of Ethiopia, while also at the same time demanding to negotiate with the same entity but where it gets with that is what gets fishy here.

In my view America can order the entity to even leave Tigray itself, but then giving it a backdoor reentry through the door of negotiation, that is a trap crafted to make the people of Ethiopia to live with the Goiter for the foreseeable future and have a sick nation, weak for ever, subservient to others' interests. We should resist that.

We can't negotiate with an entity that is hell-bent on destroying Ethiopia or, if not, then keep pillaging it, taking the upper hand in it.

We have to clear our future from the goiter of the region and our country. That is the only solution and that is what Ethiopians are demanding, we care less about American demand, if we care about our own destiny.

What We want to do with TPLF and how to organize things post TPLF is our job. For all I know there is no TPLF, only the idea of TPLF. What kind Tigray group is going to come to Addis talk to Ethiopia, only God knows! The level of anger and hate by evry Ethiopian on these bandas is beyond imagination. It is actually affecting every Tigrean's relation with every Ethioian! So I get your point. But my point is that US has or is recognizing the failure its honeymoon with TPLF, a stupid policy costing them unacceptable level of geopolitical damage.

China and Russia are in a sort of alliance against America for position of global hegemony. Russia though still powerful is a declining former superpower. US is trying to stop China's domination of the pacific and Indian ocean which include the Red Sea region. While these multipolar powers collude one against the other, they also contend between each other for economic, geographic and sphere of influence control

For example, Egypt is mainly an American client state. But both Russia and China have deep influence and relationship. Believe me East and West will not start a 3rd world war for the control of Ethiopia. We must know that the level of support we get from each contending power is limited to and measured by their specific interest in Ethiopia. We have 14 billion $ debt to China. So China will not allow Ethiopia to collapse or be destabilized, etc.

So Ethiopia's demand is that we must not be pushed to be the exclusive client of any one super power. Sure, from time to time these multidirectional games become paradoxical and contradictory. And, that is the nature of relations between nations (with each its own national interest).

If you accept the idea of negotiations, then you have to also know about who your negotiation parterner is, what the negotiation points are, which part of the points you are ready to conceed on and which not. In any case, if you go to negotiation that the Americans are demanding, it is with TPLF, they are not demanding a negotiation with an entity that is not yet known. If you are already on a negotiation table, then you are also prepared to conceed on your own interests and accept part of the demands of your negotiation partner, that is where the backdoor is to be opened for the Goiter of the nation to come back to the field.

We should resist the American demand, no matter what they are asking the other party. It is simply a trap.

The same America is also busy organising a phanotm alliance in its capital city, which is to be used against a democratically elected government of a sovereign member state of the UN, which making a lip-service to the so called humanitarian situation in the country, more than the government itself.

They first said, the election will be not free and fair, when they were proved wrong, then they turned around and still demanded about the just elected government be removed from office and a transitional government be created. This is a clear violation of the soverignity of an independent state.

They have fought us will the junta, providing material and logistic support for the enemy side.

America's credibility as an independent body to the conflict is damaged beyond repair.

The Tigray problem is both very simple and very complex. Here is why. Tigray has two possible futures- split from Ethiopia or be a province/region of Ethiopia. Ditto . If the Tigray banda wants to create a Tigray state, then let them try it. That is their complex problem. If Tigrays want to be Ethiopians and remain being Ethiopia, then the solution is very simple. How?

Look at the model in place in Addis Abeba now. As we speak a sort of transition from tribal system (created by Tigrays) to a citizen system is being made. Because the still existence of killils, the Tigray written constitution and ethnic party system, the the major challenge is going to be bringing elites of each tribe into an Ethiopia-centered ideology and structure. Right now the system is beginning to include citizen based entities. Consider the call for former military members etc.

The whole system is being forced to return back to the Ethiopian organizing principle which is the only most accurate and stable basis of organizing anything in Ethiopia. So as we speak, any group that wants to participate the Ethiopian political system needs to lay down its arms , buy into electoral politics. The nation wide conversation that was to begin first week of November was just that.

Since this is not TPLF plan, instead it wants to fool itself with a false sense of power, asked for war and Ethiopia is giving it the war. Following the conclusion of the war, we go back to the above solution. It is not about negotiating with TPLF? It is about how Tigrays want to participate in the Ethiopia system . Ethiopia does not have a problem, Tigray has a problem.

Unless Tigrays elect and produce representatives that are friendly to Ethiopia, then they will never be accepted the Ethiopian community as a trusted member. So the whole game is in Tigreans court. Unless and until they are to come up with leadership better than the TPLF bandas and idiots, the Tigray drama will continue. In the mean time, Ethiopia will go on with her life.
