There we go again. What happened to Jula? Where is he? I missed those fierce and rolling eyes of him during such briefings. Ok we are being told once again that Debre’s forces are dealt with telling blows. But this spokesman stopped just short of telling us that Debre has his forces destroyed beyond repair. Apparently he did not receive appropriate training by Jula and Bacha or he wasn’t paying attention during class. ADHD you know! Folks, just read what this spokesman told us. He goes ‘ Most of the terrorists at Worebabo, Tehuledere, and Chifra fronts have been killed or wounded, he added.’ Most of Debre’s soldiers were wiped out at those locations but did not say if those towns are now back in government hands. How about Mersa, Haik, Kuta Ber and other towns closer to Dessie? If this story is true how come Debre is lobbing one heavy artillery salvo after another on Dessie, a city home to more than half a million people? It seems to me that Abiy’s government has given up and abandoned Waldiya a city where one of the best stadiums in the Horn of Africa is located. Folks, you know what I think whenever I hear such battle success news from Abiy’s people? My reaction has been ‘what new towns are lost to Debre now?’ This person didn’t even tell us the number of casualties inflicted on Debre’s army. Who does he think we are? I have a blunt question for him. Who now controls those three towns you mentioned in the briefing? Does the government control them now? Try yes or no sir! Do you have the number of soldiers killed and wounded(not killed OR wounded) from Debre’s side? Again try yes or no sir! If yes how many killed and how many wounded? We don’t wanna hear ‘killed or wounded’ Mumbai jumbo. You’re trying to pull a fast one on us with that! Hello, how many killed And wounded? Hello, hello! I gave up!!!

There you have it. Right after this glowing press briefing Debre has entered the city of Dessie. Residents had seen ENDF soldiers abandoning positions and hurrying out of the city. The city is in pitch dark with power cut off. If this is all true I expect one of the following two things to take place. First one is everything will go on in the city as if nothing has happened. The 2nd one is something I pray to never take place which is a massacre of civilians that will dwarf all preceding massacres. Let’s pray the 2nd one will never take place. Those of you who are close to Abiy, please ask him and his officials to tell nothing but the truth. At least there is dignified way called losing in grace. Don’t you dare try to tender your resignation now. It is too late. I don’t think even Beshasha will be safe for you. Shene will have you for a snack. Missionary canteens here will be a long and impossible way for you. Hey Bacha and Jula! Liar, liar, liar! Your pants on fire!!! Liar, liar, liar! Your pants on fire!!!

It seems Abiy's administration is in total disarray and vengeful Debre is rampaging towards the capital. Then we will be talking about total breakdown of law and order. Then, (this is my and other watchful eyes' nightmare), we will see the entire country destabilized beyond repair and the entire 120 million citizens on the move. The world will witness a massacre of innocent people like no other seen in recent history anywhere. That will be a huge destructive disruption to Kenya and Djibouti. It will not stop there. Just the sheer number of people on the move will overwhelm any current boundaries that exist between countries all the way to Europe. Human traffickers will make a kill on this one. Italy, Spain, Greece and France will see millions upon millions of despondent migrants heading to their shores and there will be nothing left to go back to for them. It is not funny and bluffing matter for any policy maker. It is a clear and present danger. I am pleading to both Debre and Abiy to come back to their senses, sit down and talk. I pray now as I have been praying for so long for that country and its people. May Almighty Our Creator help you expurgate hate, suspicion and vengeance from your hearts and psyche so harmony and love shall guide you in your daily decisions!!! All I can do is wishing bon voyage all the way wherever your destination is. But I want to tell you this. Otherwise, you must find someone else. Such language of eyal-al-souqs has been the cancer eating at the heart of that country for quite some time now. I hope one glaring fact has come to you just like it did to me yesterday. It was a sudden aha moment for me. Suddenly I came to know the fact that we don't really don't know how to fight. We have gone through so much evolution that we now have ourselves not cut out to fight, We are content to be so aroused by listening to our gerersaas and zeraaf battle cries. That was what I found out yesterday. I accidently came across an old cassette that has a recording of a traditional gerersa belched by an Itu young warrior. I listened to it once and told myself 'beeees!'(repeat) and listened to it again. At the end of the 2nd play I found myself ready to go to war. In my comfy home, that is! Then I started shaking in fear. That was the aha moment I am talking about. We Oromos don't know how to fight. You Amharas are just like me and my Oromos. You don't know to fight and you get scared just thinking about it. I can prove it to you. You see it now. There are about 32 million Amharas and about 41 million Oromos in the old country with a combined population of 73 million. You can see it now that these 73 million people are being beaten like a bank robber in the old Wild West and chased by less than 6 million people. We are so cowards that we run 3 days before the enemy arrives. We have produced individuals who know better how to tell lies than military science. Greetings Obbo Ittu. Before I add my two cents, we are not all "children of Allaah," because Allaah has no partners, no children, no wife or wives, etc.
Allaah is far, far above all of that. He is the one, the one who begets not, nor was he begotten.

But, what you should say is: we're all servants or creations of Allaah. That is true, indeed.

Now. I disagree with your assertion that Oromo and Amhara aren't fighters, especially Oromo. If the TDF is gaining ground, we must ask: do the Oromo masses believe this war is just? Do they believe that this war is worth them sending their people to fight in? Are the two sides not the same two parties who were allies, sharing in the loot of Ethiopia, to the tune of billion of dollars? Or did the TPLF rule alone? No. We know for a fact that it was the Oromo party of Abiy and co, that enabled the rule of TPLF for so long, and without them, the TPLF wouldn't have ruled for so long .
If one side believes they have a just and noble cause to fight for, and the other side doesn't, then the former is bound to win or at the very least, be a very tough adversary in battle. If Tigrayans feel their very existence is in question, they will fight like lions, regardless of how you feel about them or about the TPLF elites/criminals from among them.
If the Oromo masses feel the war has ulterior motives, perhaps unclear and insincere intentions, such as a desire to attain revenge, a competition for power between two former allies who both once ruled the country with an oppressive iron fist, etc, then why would they feel motivated to fight?
I cannot speak for the Amhara masses. But the war is in their backyard now, so they should defend themselves. They don't have much of a choice.

And I will tell you this with absolute certainty. There has never been any armed group that turned out to be democratic meaning that never ended up being those who that respect and safeguard the rights of the individual since The American Revolution led by George Washington. Not one!!! I thought Ortega and his Sandinistas would be it but after a long jury out with me they have now started rearing their ugly heads. I will also tell you this. If I think both Oromos and Amharas with all that 73 million of them don't know how to fight or even they are not cut out to fight, that is my opinion and observation. If I choose, I will continue to think so. First of all, that is my right. I would love to be proven wrong. I will be out there rescinding such a factual opinion. You mentioned those in Tigray have been stockpiling military hardware for 27 years. What does that have to do running away at the first crack of AK-47's? We have read verified stories of our fathers who stood up to a foreign bully armed with the latest military hardware. That bully was in full control of the cities and nearby villages including the skies. It also had used deadly and banned poison gas that killed millions. But our fathers did not run away sacred but they huddled up and stood up to one of the cruelest regime ever crawled on this good earth. Those patriots were made up of Oromos, Amharas and many other ethnic groups. You see, I have one of those magazines from the 1930's and one of them is dated in 1937. It shows fascist soldiers riding a train to Dire Dawa and the reporter had a footnote telling he could tell how those guys were scared witless from the expression on their faces. Those patriots were armed with bolt action guns from the Victorian era. If they had machines those are the ones they captured from the enemy with their outdated guns. But look at the current situation. Oromos and Amharas are running at the first sound of Debre's guns. It is reported more than half a million people had cut and run seeking shelters in Dessie. More than a million others are said to be heading towards Addis/Finfine or in other directions. That is about ten thousand rag tags chasing more than a million mostly able bodied men. What do you call this? Gallantry or cowardice? You figure it out!!! Somebody is telling them to run instead of standing their ground. I see/sense insider scheme in this. If it is all true, Debre is now in Dessie. No one in the federal government will be able to drive him out. If they try that city of more than half a million residents will be reduced to ashes. We will see a massacre of innocent civilians unseen before. Then the two will be seen printing their fingers at each other, one putting the blame at the other. Using Debre's stockpiling of weapons for 27 years is just a copout. The problem I see is the people of the areas now in the hands of Debre were not prepared by the Abiy and his administration. What we heard all along was/is his top brass bragging about how Debre’s forces were completely annihilated. We heard that going back to November 20, 2020. Then we were treated with videos of tens of thousands of POW’s of ENDF soldiers. Even now Abiy’s men are telling us they have wiped out Debre’s every soldier that tried to enter Dessie. Then we hear story of cities to the south falling into the hands of Debre. Now there is credible news that several top officials are evacuating their families to several countries in Europe and possibly here too. Why the need to do when Debre’s forces are being decimated? For sure that dog don’t hunt for me here!!! Nuff said!!!

What is news I hear now that Abiy and many other officials are secretly evacuating their entire families overseas? I also hear what my merchants in the capital are hearing news from the battle fronts that groups of soldiers are abandoning their positions, hand over their weapons and leaving. This does not surprise me al all if it really happened. As the war drags on and on and with prevalent lack of smart military leadership battle fatigue will eventually set in among soldiers who voluntarily joined the military in the first place. But with complete blackouts in almost half of the country such news are extremely hard to verify. But it is concerning and disturbing.
